- Many faculties are here but not very good. Be like our hostel faculty. No enjoy in our college.
- Library available but no books supply. So please don't addmission in our college
Remarks :
Few teachers are not friendly. Only few classes taken by sirs . Admission process - first of all go to 'wbscte' website and regestration your madhyamik or h.s and personal details . Then select your college and department.. merit list will come and if you selected any college, so you can join.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Swami Vivekanand scholarship available only for madhyamik pass out students. There are no scholarship if you join diploma after higher secondary exam. Minimum 18000 rs given. Difficult level is not hard. If you study well for madhyamik exam,you easily qualify the jexpo exam. I am an electrical engineering student. I choose the course because this course is very easy to get job hov or private in electrical department where you go. But all subjects in electrical engineering are not easy. So tough .
Internships Opportunities :
No stipned for internship. Only you will pay for internship. Be like - ardent, dpl etc. and teachers don't give permission to students for internship, if you do itad you don't attend your class , in future you will regret soon for your attendance. Your low attendance you will not able appear for viva exam. And you fail this semester
Placement Experience :
Till 6th sem no backlogs on your subject. If you have so you can't apply for placement. Because there are many companies are here they do not want backlog( clear the subject) students. Be like - jsl . And highest package 14000 to 18000.
Campus Life :
In our college campusing are very good. Many company are here for you. Sail, jsl, jsw, Samsung, ashok Leyland etc. we don't get library faculty in our college. Library teacher does not come our college. He is very bad. There are sports tournament here between two or three another department. No social group no club is available. If you want to party, so you and your friends go to hostel , if your department's friends are there. Hostel is very bad . Room's quality are noi good. And aslo food quality.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.

Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.

Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
