It is highly affordable actually. You get this kind of education, campus, experience and faculty with that much money? Kind of good this college is under CU commonly known as Calcutta university. To get enrolled you have to give CULET entrance exam and secure needed marks.. I ranked 505 but since i am general i didnt get chance in govt but in private heritage is THE best.
There are not many events. That is i guess the downside of it? There’s not much to do out of studies and law is kinda yk needs discipline, intelligence, concentration etc. The faculty is very sweet.. sometimes they can be complicated and moody but they’re very helpful overall.. kind of strict regarding attendance though. And scoring under cu is VERY hard so ALL THE BEST!
I do not have any idea abt hostel i just filled ir because the web is forcing me to and about internship and package theres nothing college gives you come on it’s not engineering college it’s a law college they do not provide much but the basic other things you gotta look out for yourself
Generally sixty thousand per year as thirty thousand for each semester but admission was fifty one thousand (in my time) Now they take like forty thousand each semester which is eighty thousand each year.
Campus is the most beautiful! Heritage’s campus is very famous among everybody tbh everyone knows abt it. A bit off side but nearby urbana so there is proper transportation. We have other departments too like tech and Media so the tech is the most beautiful one and there’s also a school that’s beautiful..
I do not have much info about the hostel but from what I know? It’s pretty decent but if you do want a life outside college hostel is bleh.. the food will ofc not be that nice but it is right in the college premises so security is ensured.. there’s mainly 3 hostels for girls (no idea abt boys one) theres also two canteens nearby at the time of college you can easily access it and consume some yummy stuff but be cautious tho!
Placement is I do not say that is very good but I would say that treatment is almost okay and that's up to you and lot of MNC companies came in our College group. There are internship opportunities industrial training like Euphoria ardent like this MNC and ideas
In this college we have five departments, civil, computer science, mechanical, electrical and mechanical respectively and the stops are very good and the faculties are highly qualified and they are about almost everyone is iitiab
Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.
For computer science student theyare not providing any type of placement in campus but in other department student have any placement opportunity in our collage in every year visit from TCS, APPLO, and many big and small companies
Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.
Placements are for MSc batch only. Last year the highest package was 28LPA from Citi Bank, Gurgaon. Majorly hiring companies that come in FETSU for placements only come to maths dept in SFSU. Packages offered here are based on qualities. It decent.
