I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.

I chose this course as I love literature. Simple as that. The faculty of this department is very qualified and helpful. Though classes get suspended without notice sometimes but when they do take place it's always the best experience. Coming to the exams, they are not the toughest if you prepare well and are attentive in class. However end sem exams are obviously very tough.

I choose this course because it helped me alongside to pursue my professional course as the academic structure is ancillary to CA/CS/CMA. The faculty of Shri Shikshayatan College is highly qualified with teaches having studied from Oxford to having PhD and even a few with their own published books that can be found in the college library. The teaching method varies from person to person. I would say that the teaching method is very traditional with minimal use of technology to enhance the learning experience. Tear exams are very timely and the difficulty level is set by the Calcutta University. The college has no role as such in conducting the term end exams. However it does conduct internals and practical exams which can be challenging if not studied. The term end exams are held in different centers of CU. One cannot give the same from their own college.

The course is more practical based rather than theory so it acquire my interest as in today's world the practical knowledge is much more relivent than theory based knowledge. The faculty of my course is quite great, they are very kuch helpful and knowledgeable in what they are giving out, they always try to provide an engaging environment to the students. There are total 4 time throughout the year when any exams takes place, once before the sem end and one after the sem end. The one which takes place before the sem end is conducted by the college it self and it consist of 10 marks in total and we have to attend only 5 question. The sem end is conducted by the university and it consist of 50-65 marks based on the subject, the marks are divide in three way- 10-1 marks, 5-2 marks, and 2to3-15 marks. The batches after 2022 have to give 3-4 paper in the college it self which is conducted by the university due to the new education police and 2 paper in the allotted exam center.

I choose this BCOM honours degree because I come from a commerce background (commerce was the main stream in 11th and 12th standard). Also my main Focus was on finance and accounting so it's the best for it. Shri Shikshayatan's faculties are greattt,they are well behaved and punctual with there work.

The reason behind I choose this degree was for it flexibility and versatile. Qualification of all the faculty is top notch , all the teachers and professors are highly educated done their master and PHD. One of the best thing I love about this college is their punctuality and accountability towards students examination and the difficulty level is also quite high from my perspective.

As im pursuing a professional course side wise and i thought I would be easy to complete it and course was affordable too All the professors are highly qualified and really knowledgeable , kind and helpful This college falls under Calcutta university and falls its curriculum so its conducted semester wise
