Remarks :
The factor that made me choose this college was it's hype of studies, the quality of education that it provides also it's cocurricular activity section for girls. Be it drama, debate, film making or being a part of an consulting club it provides it all, also the profession's who are quite knowledge in their field. There is no such things as group discussion, interview or written test for admission as the admission processeduer is totally merit based.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course is more practical based rather than theory so it acquire my interest as in today's world the practical knowledge is much more relivent than theory based knowledge. The faculty of my course is quite great, they are very kuch helpful and knowledgeable in what they are giving out, they always try to provide an engaging environment to the students. There are total 4 time throughout the year when any exams takes place, once before the sem end and one after the sem end. The one which takes place before the sem end is conducted by the college it self and it consist of 10 marks in total and we have to attend only 5 question. The sem end is conducted by the university and it consist of 50-65 marks based on the subject, the marks are divide in three way- 10-1 marks, 5-2 marks, and 2to3-15 marks. The batches after 2022 have to give 3-4 paper in the college it self which is conducted by the university due to the new education police and 2 paper in the allotted exam center.
Internships Opportunities :
There is good internship opportunity outside the college as per my information but not inside the college as I haven't had any opportunity to get into an internship through the college connection. The internship that I have every had done is based out of the college connection, be it through linkedln, intershala, or naukri.com.
Placement Experience :
The placement is not that great for my course bit for the courses like B.com, nd other courses of BA, B.com is a bit nice. The job opportunities for course is quite good in today's fast forward digital age.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The course consist of 3 years for the 2022 batch and 4 years for the batches after 2022. Each year is divided into 2 semester, each semester fee structure is 30,000 so it make upto 60,000 each year, total of 1,80,000 for the entire course and there is increas of 5000-8000 for every new batch of student's. There is no scholarship criteria for any categorise of student's, but there is a reserve number of seats for ST and SC categories.
Campus Life :
The life is quite good with alot of club activities ig you are a part of one, the college have variety of clubs be dance, drama, film making, photography, consulting, debate, sports and many others which end up giving you a great exposure if you participate in different inter and intra college activities. We also NSS for the ones who are interested in surviving society. We have our library, cafeteria, games room, yoga room, computer lab, mac lab, Botanical lab. Each and ever classroom have it's own AC and monitor.
Hostel Facilities :
I have opted for an PG which is very near to my college, like a 10-15 min walking distance the food over hear is quite good to be true as compare to the other PG's I have heard of or had an recommendations of. The facilities are quite good as well over here we have Washingmachine, fridge, geezer, water purifier, gas for cooking if we want to someday.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW

There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
