Reality of FIEM
Remarks :
I choose this college because it was nearest to my home and i got CSE in this college . And in year 2020-2022 placement of this college were really good. GOOD Lab , library , students. BAD faculty , placements , infrastructure. Admission process i took admission through WBJEE there was no GD/PI etc.
Course Curriculum Overview :
In 2020 - 2022 IT industry was on its peak and i thought if i can take admission in Engineering then i can also get into IT industry at a decent package. That's why i choose this course. Some teachers were really good and some where not good Teachers. Some teachers knowledge was limited and not very much interactive during the class. We have to give assessment every month and Lab assessment in every 2 month . Assessment were not much hard but End sem exam were little bit difficult.
Internships Opportunities :
I don't got any internship during my degree through college . Only in the final year students get internship . There are some company that comes fro on-campus placement they give internship with PPO offer. Like Bavistech , Ultah Tech labs , Cognizant , Novasoft. Projects are base on business requirements and they give clear instructions for the tasks.
Placement Experience :
Student should not have any Backlog and Minimum 60% throughout academics , those who qualify this criteria they can be part of placement drive. Cognizant - 12 , TCS - 4, Bavistech - 8, Utah Tech Labs - 15. Highest - 9 LPA , Average - 3.5 LPA Around 30% student got placed. I got placed and after getting degree i will join that compnay.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Approx 1 Lakh yearly fees. At the time of admission they take 62000 which include 1st sem fees , admission fees , development feed, caution fees, library fees etc. For management Quota 3-4 Lakhs extra for getting admission. There was a category TWF if anyone took admission through that quota they only had to pay 70% of the total fees, that would be around 120000. Swami vivekananda Merit Cum Means Scholarship were given 60000 per year by State Government. Criteria You have to be resident of West Bengal , Income should be less than 250000 and have minimum 60% in grade.
Campus Life :
Phoenix - March Vibgyor - April Prarambh - May Flashmob - May Celluloid - June Flames - November Hackspire - October Swagatam - December Library is well equipped with books , journals newspaper and books for competitive exams. Class is not well maintained and ventilation of the rooms are very bad , also not adequate fans are there. There is not available a good ground for playing sports. Only a small ground is there and that is not maintained. FIEM ACM Students Chapter , Xplorica , Culrav , Spotivo and Estrella Productions are clubs that are run by students.

Placement Experience :
Students should not have any backlog at the 6 th semester. Placement and internship opportunities are gradually decreasing. Currently our college is approved by NBA it may help in our placement. TCS is the main recruiter, Accenture, Infosys, Evosys, ThoughtWorks etc. also come to our campus.
DMET :- dream of all Marine engineering aspirants.
Placement Experience :
There placement opportunities here are best amongst all Indian Marine engineering colleges. All good companies like SCI, Chevron , nyk , delos, British petroleum, mediterranean shipping company,etc visit and good offers are given. In Marine industry salaries for same kind of ships are almost same and difference lies for type of contract offered.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because I feel this course gives best opportunity in both IT sector as well as in Core field.There is no any scholarships regarding your college results.But this college consists of good faculty which help help in preparing for GATE examination.
I am grateful to study in this University. And every course has quite good opportunity.
Placement Experience :
For every course in our university has good placement. There are also the arrangement of internship, scholarship and merit based course and examination. Overall placement of our university is 92%. In engeneering there are highest package 6-10 LPA

Placement Experience :
This college is located in sector V so this is the IT hub in Kolkata all IT companies are came for hiring students as a permanent mamber and intership so we can't take any headache for this so I can refer this college is best

Placements are obviously very very good here and u will get lots of opportunities here to be placed , here there is no chance that u will not get placed because placement rate is around 100 percent some of students don't register themselves for placement and rather they go for some startups and IIMs and IAS .
Brief review of NIT DURGAPUR
Placement Experience :
you have to maintain 6.5 cg to sit in the placements and it may differ according to companies . as i am in 2nd year so i have little less idea of placements well for meta 90% students get placed last year with a median package of 9 lakhs .

The college provides good placement opportunities and has around 95%+ placement record. Students from 3rd year are eligible to go for placement. Companies like Bosh, tcs, mahindra tech, wipro ,infosys. ultratech, are some of the companies to hire. Besides this the college also has masters course like MBA, M tech .
