Who can apply for the vacant B.Tech seats?
Only candidates domiciled in West Bengal can apply in this round. They must have a valid WBJEE 2026 rank and meet the WBJEE eligibility rules.
Applicants must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent examination in regular classroom mode. Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry are compulsory subjects. The minimum combined marks are 60% in these three subjects. The minimum is 55% for SC, ST, OBC, PwD and EWS candidates. Students must also have passing marks in each subject and 30% English.

The Chemical Technology group includes coal and related materials, oils and paints, pharmaceutical and fine chemicals, and plastics and polymer engineering. Five per cent of seats are horizontally reserved for PwD candidates.
