I had a 3 years bachelors course and there were 2 semesters each year. The faculty in my college was very good. They were easy to talk to and I was very satisfied with their teaching. We followed the cbcs curriculum under Calcutta University.

My love for literature made me choose this course. The faculty here is very kind and helpful. All of them are trained professionally and are extremely educated. They always help the students. Gokhale always arranges mid-term examinations before the finals so that the students get well prepared for the university papers. Being a student of the West Bengal board, I have always got the facilities of government-sponsored scholarships like the Swami Vivekananda Scholarship and also Kanyashree which helps a lot in terms of academics.

Gokhale Girls' provides a B.Sc degree for Economics with Mathematics as a mandatory general subject & any other subject like English, Political Science, Sociology, etc as the 2nd general paper to be studied. The fee structure during admission is around 9000 including admission and semester fee, whereas the fee amount reduces with the semesters. The qualification to seek admission with B.Sc Economics is having Mathematics in 12th with score 60& above or having Economics in 12th. However the criteria for the subject might have changed due to the new education policy, the official college portal conveys the exact details. The faculty of Department of Economics is good with highly qualified proffesors. The college provides scholarships and kanyashree 2 to students with valid documents. Internals, assessments,etc are taken accordingly with the instructions of The Calcutta University. A problem that's faced by students is attendence which carries marks & is totally in the hands of college.

Faculties are very cooperative and strict in their studies. Some are too friendly teachers. Lab sessions are so good and they handle it in a very good way. Extra curriculum activities are also done like Basanta Utsav and Annual program and also various programs are done by The college authority and students unit. So overall it's a good college. It has a small canteen, a common library, and a department library as well.

Every faculty member is extremely supportive. Especially my Departmental faculties. They are very calm and composed. It is a half government half private college so fees are okay. Scholarships available. Overall experience is very good.

The Faculties in Gokhale Memorial Girl's College are good, with years of experience and knowledge. Also, they are very serious about academics and courses. We also have internal examinations twice before the end sem exam. Various Government scholarships like Kanyashree, Student credit card scheme, etc.. are available for eligible students.

The faculty is extremely knowledgeable and well qualified. The associate professors have a doctorate degree and the assistant professors have completed either MPhil or B.Ed. Some of the assistant professors are also pursuing their PhD currently. The teaching method comprises of both lectures and ppt presentations. Term exams are quite timely but the difficulty level is quite high so the students need to be well prepared. The fees per semester is around 8k and the fee hike isn't that common. There are goverment scholarships available which are informed by the college in time.
