Gokhale Memorial Girls College

What I Liked

Gokhale Memorial Girls College strictly maintains the rules. I like the strictness of this college.
Washrooms here are very neat and clean and the college also has a sanitary napkin vending machine for girl's.

Placement Experience:

Gokhale Memorial Girls College has its placement cell where every year renowned companies such as Tata Consultancy Services, Microsoft, and Wipro visit and interview the students of last year. Only a few of them get selected and get placed in companies.

Internships Opportunities:

I am currently pursuing English as my Major at Gokhale Memorial Girls College. Right now I'm in my second semester. Our placement or internship starts in the last year so till now I have not opted for any internship.

Gokhale Girl' Story

What I Liked

The college does not organise departmental or annual fest but we do get chances to participate in the fest organised by other colleges.
Atleast the provides with hygenic canteen with good food, purified water and clean washroom to its students.

What I didn’t like

Honestly i hate my campus life as in we do not have a campus. We have 2 building divided into arts building & science building. Hence, college or social life here is very boring.
The infrastructure in the college lacks. The library, psychology labs, computer lab, etc. lack quality things but the college has initiated renovational procedures.

Placement Experience:

Gokhale Memorial Girls' College is an Undergraduate College & do not provide placements or job opportunities. Students completing Ug courses from this college either prepare for job related exams or educational exams to opt for Masters Degree like M.Sc, MA or MBA.

Internships Opportunities:

I did not opt for any intership besides my B.Sc programme. But i did opt for a part time job which i gave off due to lack of time compatibility during semester exams. I provide tutions during my free time as a side job to earn while studying.

Review of Our Pretty Gokhale memorial Girl's college

What I Liked

Infrastructure should develop a little more . Campus is little . Ac imented class is also there . Smart class is also there . Projectors are usee as the mode of study or lectures . Overall its okay and as said above faculties are very good .
Campus life friends and juniors and most importantly phase during a programme or its rheharsals are the most attractive part

What I didn’t like

Common room stories are the best part of the college life during programmes rheharsals and all .so its best memory for me

Placement Experience:

To be very honest Placements are not expected here as the facility has not been started yet but we can get a lot of internships from this course which includes hospital visits and training as well as industrial visits. We learned a lot about how industrially worked is being carried on and we got a surreal experience from that and are forever grateful for that.

Internships Opportunities:

Yes, we have done 2 internships majorly and 3 industrial visits in our last 2 semesters. So we have to write projects based on it and have to submit them as it is part of our course and points /marks are based on it.

Campus life is I think the best life for every one.
Faculties are very supportive and friendly.

About Placements and internships, I don't have any idea. But I heard about it and I think it happened in other departments. Though I don't have any idea about it soi prefer not to talk so much about it.
