South Calcutta Girls College - SCGC is a public college, established in 1932 and is situated in Kolkata in West Bengal, affiliated with the University of Calcutta. 

The college offers the BA Honors and General course under 11 different specializations and B.Sc under 12 specializations. Applicants for Honours courses are required to have obtained 50% marks in aggregate or more in their 10+2, or equivalent examinations with at least 45% marks in the subject / related subject opted for in the Honours course.
