The faculty of political science are very intelligent and some of them are PhD done .they use to tecah us in a well manner and they used to helped us if we have any doubt in any of the subjects.The exam are held semester wise and they are not so much difficult.

This course has a widespread knowledge skill. The faculty is well qualified and teaching is good. They try their best to give us each information they have and care for us. Exams happen per semester.

The department that I am enrolled in is pretty good. But if your medium is english, you must face difficulties as they give preference to Bengali medium more. Still, there are few teachers who provide notes in English but some teachers only teachea in Bengali. So, if you are a student who don't know Bengali and your medium is English only, all the best to you. I have to study from chatgpt and youtube videos but there are few topics whose videos are not on youtube so I don't even have the basic knowledge about them but still I appeared in the exam and passed. They are very consistent with exams, as per University's notice they conduct exams after every 6 months. Well, pro tip is here: if you want to score good you don't have to study much. Just follow previous years question paper. Alternate years questions always repeats so if you are preparing for any civil service exams, you can save your time.

The course is tough but enjoyable, thanks to the amazing professors we have here. The faculty is extremely qualified and helpful. People are very fond of the professors here and their classes are very enjoyable. Exams are conducted by CU and the college follows CU guidelines.

I chose to study political science major cause it has Multiple career options and it's very very interesting, it's very reality oriented and it's great to know about how our political system works or atleast expected to work , provides real life knowledge and alot of concepts about our political system and international as well. The professors are highly qualified and they teach with a lot of patience, and they are very student friendly. We need to appear for vivas, internals and 2 semester exams per year, the exams are hard since the college falls under Calcutta University.

Being a government college the tuition fees are not high but unlike other colleges, the staff and faculty are very good and respectful they treat students like humans and not like servants.

Faculties in my department was well qualified with a minimum PhD degree. Most of them have their research paper and the rest of them who joined part-time are preparing for their PhD. Semester exams were moderate to tough most of the time and sometimes easy in my subject. There are several scholarships available such as SVMCM, Inspire, and a few caste related scholarships. Students who are eligible easily get the scholarship.

I choose these courses cuz the subject interested me and this institution had a good reputation in this field. The faculty are quite good. The fees is too minimal and as per that the service provided is quite good.

Bethune college is a total government college with minimum course fee and a lot of scholarship available for various candidates. For BSc psychology honours course fee is Rs. 2,170/- per semester and BA honours is lower than that which is a very affordable cost.
