This is the first women's college in Asia, which in itself makes it stand out, the college is very famous all across indian for its BA programmes, my 12th board marks matched with the cut off and I was extremely lucky to get in here.

I choose this college because it was Asia's first women college and i get admission in this college through 12th based marks.But you have to get good marks in board papers then only you can we chance in this college.

Bethune's academics are well known and professors are really helpful and friendly. We can reach out to them easily without any hesitation. The bad aspect is since it's a heritage college so the toilets aren't clean.

It happened accidentally. I wanted to study psychology but I missed their meeit list. So philosophy was the only option. I thought let's take admission into this course then i'll change into psychology. On that time I didn't do any research about calcutta university requirements. I was told if I want to study psychology, my one year will be wasted. So, I have to stick to philosophy. For admission, you have to qualify the basic requirements like marks upto 60%. But you s you have to keep foloowing the merit list, if you miss it out, you may loose the chance. Furthermore, there's no interview rounds. Once your name will appear in the final merit list, you just have to go for the document verification. That's it. The process is easy.

The college calculates a merit score based on your marks from 12th and which subject you are applying for. Admission is done based on this merit score. Therefore good marks in all relevant subjects is necessary in your 12th boards for securing a seat in this college.

The college in itself is beautiful, The cultural heritage is Unmatched, it is the only girls college from Kolkata to feature in NIRF rankings , The environment of the college is beautiful, the people beautiful, the faculty, again top notch. The only thing that can be improved is exposure to Sports. Cut off is you need to score 92% minimum in 12th

The students needed to fill out forms which were free of cost and then wait till their name was on the merit list, mine came on the 8th list and then I was taken to the admission procedure. I chose this college because it was under the government and has a high value in.

No there were no written tests or interviews. The admission process is based on the marks of the 12th board exam. Bethune College is the oldest women's college in Asia and is well-reputed the facilities, education, and exposure were huge that's the reason I joined this college.

This is one of the best institutions which is totally government undertaken. It has top notch faculty. The classes are more or less ok. The admission was totally based on merit. The staffs are stubborn.The toilet facilities need to be taken into concern.

Psychology department of Bethune college is really famous and popular. The faculty available in that department are really very helpful, cooperative and understanding. But there's is cut throat cut off during admission because of popularity and academic excellence of this college marked as A+ in West Bengal.
