I chose this course from this college because only few colleges had this subject for master’s degree. There were four semesters divided in two years of master degree. Every faculty is well qualified and has years of experience. They are very helpful throughout the semester with providing proper notes and guide and online classes when needed. Two semester exams every year. The odd semester happens around February and even semester around july.

I had a huge interest in the field of geography. Other than that, it was a growing field. All the professors were highly qualified and their teaching methods were quite friendly and understandable. The internals were held in the middle of semester and the difficulty level was quite impressive and good.

The Bsc course designed by the college is absolutely perfect for the field of study giving ample exposure to students.The frequency of exam conduction is also well maintained. And as mentioned above the faculty are highly qualified and friendly to students making the subject a joy for them.

Since my childhood, I have been good at this subject. After class 10 I decided in future I would study mathematics. The faculty of the department was very knowledgeable. Their method of teaching was very understandable to all of us.

I want to become an ias that's why I chose this course.it is the subject which makes bridge between arts and science. it's a wholesome subject. we have 7 faculty in our college, Dr. Sankha Priya Roy is our HOD. The remaining 6 teachers are highly qualified. and they hold PhD degrees in their subject of research. the exam is done on a semester basis. and the exam questions are the toughest exam. being a government college, the cost of study is very minimal. and I also get Swami Vivekananda's merit cum means scholarship.

The college has a total of 9 departments in arts, and 6+ departments in science. Students will benefit in subject selection. Apart from that, everyone will also get the opportunity to do P.G in the same college. I am getting various scholarships in my course in this college like Vivekananda and Navanna Scholarship
