- The maintenance was very poor, with broken windows, fans in the classroom not working properly, etc etc
Remarks :
First of all it was the low fees which attracted me the most, the selection process was entirely based upon the marks of individual student in there 12th. As, it was the covid time, the goverment didn't take any application fees from the students so a huge number of students had applied in several colleges. But no enormous problem had been created and the entire process was very swift.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I had a huge interest in the field of geography. Other than that, it was a growing field. All the professors were highly qualified and their teaching methods were quite friendly and understandable. The internals were held in the middle of semester and the difficulty level was quite impressive and good.
Internships Opportunities :
No, we were not provided with any kind of internships by the college. But the professors assisted us by providing us with different internships opportunities from outside places when they got them through there different channels
Placement Experience :
There were no placement facilities available from the college. I, myself, after the graduation was preparing myself for higher studies, and side by side I was participating in some freelancing work and taking government exams preparation
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The annual fee was 1650 rupees but the NEP system may have higher fees. Everything in the college fees is included in that amount of 1650 I have studied B.Sc but in the bachelor of arts departments the fees are much lower than the departments of science For the B.Sc students there is an annual scholarships of 18000 and for arts students its 12000, the name of the scholarship is Swami Vivekananda merit cum scholarship which is given by government of West Bengal
Campus Life :
I studied there for 3 years but only once the fest was conducted in June and it was named DHUN. The library was well equipped by books but the department library was better than the central library of the campus. The classes were equipped with the basic facilities and some of the classroom was equipped with ICT boards .There were many cultural and sports clubs which were jointly run by teachers and students.
Hostel Facilities :
The canteen was most of the time closed but when opened the food served there was quite good but it was overpriced sometimes. The college didn't have any hostel facilities but many students lived around the hostels in several PGs but it was quite expensive for them

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure
Placement Experience :
Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Still don't about the placements and job opportunities . I haven't even discussed with my seniors about the opportunities after the graduation we get from college.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
