Remarks :
On the very first day, I went to this college for counselling, then the college campus, library, and college atmosphere were very pleasing to me. The faculty of the mathematics department was very good at university in Kolkata. These were the good aspects for me. I didn't find any bad aspects in this college. At least 60% in your chosen subject then you will appear in an entrance examination then at least 50% marks will have to be obtained.it is the eligibility for admission to this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Since my childhood, I have been good at this subject. After class 10 I decided in future I would study mathematics. The faculty of the department was very knowledgeable. Their method of teaching was very understandable to all of us.
Internships Opportunities :
No, I don't have any internship. Many internships were given in the college. Many campus placements came every year in the college. It was a very good opportunity for all of us. For that cracking, we have to do a lot of projects.
Placement Experience :
The placement and job opportunities are very good numbers. Every year many students grabbed the opportunity.. Like TCS Infosys Accenture many companies are coming.. Those students who were not getting jobs from the campus placement, were preparing govt jobs.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Every year we have to pay 15000 including tuition fees, caution fees, registration fees, admission fees, development fees, and lab fees. There were many Scholarships in the college for poor students. West Bengal chief minister scholarships were given to those students but at least 60% marks having their subjects and their family annual income less than 24000.
Campus Life :
My life at the college campus was amazing.. after the class maximum time spent on the college campus. The area of the college campus was huge. There was a very big library room. A lot of books were there. Every year a sports tournament was organized by the college authority.
Hostel Facilities :
I didn't take a hostel. I regularly go to college from my home. My many friends were staying in the college hostel. The food quality is good..in a week 3 days non-veg and 4 days veg in the college hostel meal.. 1 day chicken or mutton, 1 day egg and 1-day fish in the meal.

Faculties are well qualified but there is lack of experience teacher as most of the teacher are from local area and the college does not try to bring talent across different region of India. Also college does not have standard process of selection.
My experience at Shri Shikshayatan College
Placement Experience :
We have campus placements in our college. Some of the most famous companies which visit every year is TCS and Cognizant. The salary is very average around 1.5-2 LPA for freshers. You have to maintain a very decent profile with 0 active backlogs to get a job directly via our college placement. There are around 50-100 students who get places every year from our batch via campus placement.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose bcom hons because i was a commerce student in school. The course is well taught in our college. The syllabus is same for all the calcutta university students. The faculty is knowledgeable and well trained. All the teachers are friendly and teach us thoroughly. The classes are held regularly and on time. We had exams every 6 months. Let’s say 1st semester exam will be held after 4-5 months of joining. We had to give internal exams of 20 marks after 4 months of classes which was followed by external examination of 80 marks (nearly 1 month after that). The difficulty level is somewhere around 9/10 for other subjects and 10/10 for accounting and Tax.
Affordable Government Pharmacy Education with Strong Academics but Limited Industry Exposure

Placements at the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri are not good because their is no in campus placement. Most students pursue higher studies or find jobs off-campus.The average package ranges from ?2–3 LPA, while the highest package can go up to around ?4–5 LPA depending on the company and role. Many students prefer higher studies such as M.Pharm, MBA, or preparation for competitive exams to improve career prospects. After completing my degree, I plan to either pursue higher studies or gain industry experience to build a strong career in the pharmaceutical sector.
My honest opinion on P. G. INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES
Placement Experience :
The placement and internship cell of the college was really bad though. They did give us internship in different hospitals which were unpaid and the offered jobs were for experienced people, not for inexperienced or freshers. Only this side of the college was lacking. Otherwise, good. I had an job opportunity from this college which offered me 10000 a month.
ACADEMY OF TECHNOLOGY REVIEW
Placement Experience :
There is a good opportunity of placements in AOT as it is a very renowned college for a long time. The previous years placement are ~200%, ~150%, ~90% and for this year too it will be good. The college prepares the students properly for placements through trainings.

Xavier law school is still in its nascent stage and hence due to this reason only two batches have graduated as of now. the highest package was not that good, and it was average rather and all the students were also not placed. many opted for litigation and higher study.

Placement Experience :
College don't provides any placement. But this college is little bit famous of our locality areas. If you need job the degree from this college will be valuable. This a downside of our college. I don't think we will face problem for the college degree.
