PGDM Application Procedure

  1. Open JAGSoM's official admissions portal and choose PGDM Bangalore.
  2. Complete the applicant profile, including academic records and entrance-test information.
  3. Pay the application fee and submit the online form.
  4. For scholarship consideration, complete the separate scholarship application and provide supporting documents.
  5. If shortlisted, attend the Admission Selection Process with self-attested documents.

PGDM Shortlisting and Final Selection

Entrance-test performance is assessed alongside academic preparation, communication, learning potential and value fit. Class 10, Class 12 and graduation marks may be included in the profile review, and a strong test score alone does not secure admission.

  1. Eligible applicants are shortlisted for the Admission Selection Process after submitting their application, entrance score and application fee.
  2. At ASP registration and briefing, student volunteers collect the documents, and staff check the self-attested copies.
  3. Candidates complete a 30-minute group discussion or task in groups of 6 to 8. This stage assesses solution orientation.
  4. The personal interview examines learning potential and suitability for the programme.
  5. Following the assessment, applicants receive either an offer letter or a waitlist notice.

Student feedback describes the admission procedure as smooth. One student reported a positive interview experience and found the process enjoyable. Students also associate merit scholarships with recognition of strong achievements.

JAGSoM Admission Cutoff

JAGSoM does not publish a fixed CAT cutoff for admission. It considers entrance scores together with academic performance, group discussion and personal interview results.

The stated merit-scholarship threshold is 75 percentile or higher in CAT. This is a scholarship criterion, and applicants must also satisfy the academic requirements for merit awards.

JAGSoM Scholarships 2027

Scholarship amounts are adjusted against the final fee instalment. Awards initially cover year 1, with renewal dependent on performance. The Padode Foundation Super Scholar initiative provides a pool of INR 5 crore for candidates with strong entrance-test results.

Merit awards require at least 60% in Class 10, Class 12 and graduation. An applicant falling below this academic requirement cannot claim a merit scholarship solely on the strength of a high entrance percentile.

Scholarship Category Award or Fee Waiver Eligibility
Merit Scholarship / Super Scholar INR 60,000 - INR 2 Lakhs High entrance-test score; merit list closes in December 2026
EWS Scholarship INR 1.50 Lakhs Students from economically weaker sections
Sports Excellence Scholarship INR 1.50 Lakhs Achievement in sports
Defence Wards Scholarship INR 1.50 Lakhs Children of military personnel
Differently-Abled Scholarship INR 1.50 Lakhs Students with disabilities
Dean's Scholarship Determined by the school Excellence in extracurricular activities

The EWS, Sports Excellence, Defence Wards and Differently-Abled awards each provide INR 1.50 Lakhs, subject to the minimum graduation-mark requirements. Applicants must use the separate scholarship form and submit the supporting documents.

Scholarships are limited and assessed during the early admission rounds, so candidates are advised to apply promptly. The Super Scholar merit list closes in December 2026.

These scholarship slabs were published for the preceding admission cycle and may change for the 2027-29 intake.
