CMREC Courses and Fees

B.Tech management quota fees are higher than convener quota fees and are decided by CMREC. Diploma holders can enter B.Tech directly in the 2nd year through TS ECET in CSE, ECE, and VLSI branches.

CMREC Admission Process

CMREC admits students through state-level counselling and institute-level admission routes. B.Tech convener quota seats are filled through TGEAPCET rank and TSCHE counselling, while management quota seats are handled directly by the college. M.Tech admission is based on TS PGECET or GATE.

B.Tech Admission Process

• Eligibility: Students must pass 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics, along with Chemistry, Biotechnology, or Computer Science. They need at least 45% aggregate in these subjects, or 40% for SC/ST students
• Convener quota: Seat allotment is done through TSCHE counselling based on TGEAPCET rank. The EAPCET code is CMRN
• Management quota: Students need a valid EAMCET or JEE Main rank and must contact CMREC admissions directly
• Lateral entry (2nd year): Diploma holders with 45% aggregate can apply through TS ECET

For CMREC CSE, recent Open Category TGEAPCET closing ranks have generally been in the 50,000 to 80,000 range. The closing rank changes every year based on branch and category.

M.Tech Admission Process

M.Tech seats are offered through TS PGECET or GATE-based TSCHE counselling. Students with a valid GATE score may also be considered by CMREC through institute-level selection.

• Eligibility: B.Tech/BE in a relevant branch with at least 60% aggregate
• Government quota M.Tech seats are filled through TS PGECET rank and TSCHE counselling
