It's a medical college, so as expected not everything is gonna be spoon fed to the students, one shall have the ability to self study through the course, and it becomes a neccesity after 2nd year, as there are clinical posting, there will be fewer lectures and more practical learning.

MBBS is a very study intensive field. In this college the faculty are either MS or MD in their respective subjects, they are very supportive towards students not just in academics but even if you face any emotional, moral or personal problems. We are taught in a smart class with the help of a projector and a screen. The lecture’s are 1.5 hours long each. The curriculum for every year is different and it can be found on the college website. Exams are conducted periodically after major units are covered in each subjects. If someone is economically challenged there are aids from government like MYSY and CMSS to help them out, but availing it will lead to a bond between the student and the government of Gujarat for post degree duty of 1 year, and the cost to break the duty bond is 20 lacs. There is also a seat bond signed between student and GMERS according to which if a student decides to leave the course in between he/she has to pay 2lacs + the remaining course fees.

The College & Hospital offers courses like MBBS, MD, and MS with separate well-organized departments for each subject & stream! It also provides Separate laboratories for the related subjects & is rich in resources in terms of everything! The 27-acre Campus of the institution also comes with enough space for extracurricular activities like sports, sports events, cultural nights, DJ nights & celebrations of various days, organized every year, almost every year! The Faculty is competent & cooperative in terms of their teaching style & teaching patterns. The hospital sees a daily number of approx 2000 patients with a really good clinical exposure allowing students to relate to the clinical topics, terms & various theoretical terms! The Batch size is 200 Students per batch ( per year ). The admission process is facilitated by State Board Authorities. A High or More December score is generally required to get the admission secured.
