AMU Distance Education delivers distance and online programmes through the Centre for Distance and Online Education (CDOE). Its course range covers UG, PG, diploma and certificate study, including BA and M.A. Admission is based on academic merit, and the application fee for every course is INR 300.

These programmes give students an alternative when professional, economic or social limits prevent them from joining regular classes. The affordable distance format also extends university education to educationally underdeveloped areas.

    • For a UG course, students must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent qualification in any stream from a recognized university.
    • Admission to M.A. and M.Com. requires a graduate degree with at least 50% aggregate marks.
    • Selection for every course depends on the marks secured in the qualifying examination.
    • Students may buy the application form offline or download it from the official website. The completed form can be submitted only through offline mode.
