College life of a dental student

What I Liked

The only good about the college is the canteen where we students spend some quality time together There is nothing much to like about the campus infrastructure as it is poor Campus life isn’t that good If you get good friends you can survive in that college

What I didn’t like

Poor infrastructure Poorly painted Poorly maintained Campus life isn’t exciting You have good friends then u can be happy with them Faculty is good but they are also strict They are also helpful

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is comparatively tough A student who enters the course should not take it lightly Real hard work is required for you to pass the exams If your choosing the course choose it cause you like it not because you were forced to Also the faculties are really strict Sometimes they are strict to an extent that you feel to quit the course But also at the same time they are helpful at times

Placement Experience:

We either have to work independent or practice under an experienced doctor I plan to migrate to gulf countries after the course as dentistry has a great scope in Middle East The highest package u can get is 1 lakh for a sitting

What I Liked

One of the main positive of the college is its infrastructure. We have good clinics library canteen Play grounds hostels.
Also it provides such a good campus life.

What I didn’t like

Too many restrictions are imposed regarding the usage of cellphones
Also the hostel timing it's about nine o'clock to 6 p m.

Course Curriculum Overview:

First of all My ambition was to become a Dentist. All the faculties are qualified with master's degrees. And exams were conducted at an Interval of about six months. And yearly we have the university exams. Exams are of moderate difficulty.

Placement Experience:

No, my college is not providing any placement for its students. I plan to go for MDS after this. Setting up a clinic is also a good option after completing our b d s course. The average salary package for a beginner is arranged. From about twenty thousand to fifty thousand.

My college story

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course to learn more about oral science and I would like to spread awareness about it to the people around me. Exams are being conducted regularly. Most of the faculties are Ph.D. holders and MDS doctors

Remarks:

I chose this college by attempting the NEET examination and by participating in allotment in KEAM...College is good for academics and gives good exposure to patients when they get to clinical practical....the only disadvantage is that there are not many curriculum activities
