What I Liked

Library which gives peaceful atmosphere for study
Hospital canteen which is having a nice infrastructure

Placement Experience:

There is no such thing as campus placement here. But since it is a professional job we can apply after when get pass out. We can work as a junior doctor or as a general practioner in any area after the course

Internships Opportunities:

Yes , we have to do a one year internship project in the college after the studies and it is compulsory. We can also learn and assist the doctors during our internship as it hold an important experience in your profession

Genuine review about mount Zion medical college by student.

What I Liked

Best part is the campus atmosphere. Academics are also the highlight. Equal opportunities for extracurricular and academics.
Peaceful environment. Good hostel facilities

What I didn’t like

Located in a remote area. Nearest city is adoor which is 20 km away
Ground facilities is small in size. Food iss of average quality

Placement Experience:

There are no placement options available for our course. The internship is of one year after the four year. It comes under CRRI scheme. We work under doctor of different departments to gain exposure of each department.

Internships Opportunities:

This course in our college doesn't give placements. Internship is compulsory for each student at this college itself for 1 year. This has a payment scale of 96000 per annum. The accommodation is provided by the college.

Review about mount zion medical college

What I Liked

The facilities in the college are well experienced and student friendly
The college will give priority to both education and other extra curricular activities equally

What I didn’t like

Transportation for students is difficult
Gym facilities no available , ground facilities could be improved ( the construction process is ongoing)

Placement Experience:

The internship program will be of 1 yr and is compulsory for all students. Every student must do their internship in the college itself . The salary for 1 month will be around 8000 and accomodation will be provided ,not food After completing the degree I will focus on my PG entrance exam

Internships Opportunities:

Internship are offered by college as part of completion of course . It will be compulsory as part of the programme The internship will be 12 months and each month we will be having different postings

Review of Mount Zion medical college life.

What I Liked

Best is the location. Hostel is good. Teaching is best. Hospital is good. Extracurricular activities are best.
Overall a college life to be remembered. Very special one.

What I didn’t like

Hostel food. Transportation distance . Some hospital facilities.
Food is the main drawback in this hostel.

Placement Experience:

Job opportunity is very high. Adoor is the nearest city where many hospitals are located. The next nearest city is thiruvalla. The internships must be completed in our college itself. The stipend is about 10000/month for house surgeons.

Internships Opportunities:

The internship opportunities in our college is very vast. All the students do internship in our college itself. The days and night shifts are allotted to them. Post graduation courses are available in surgery, medicine, ortho, ophthalmology, etc..

What I Liked

Gives equal importance to studies and extracurricular activities
Highly qualified faculties are appointed

What I didn’t like

College infrastructure could be improved
Taste and Quality of hostel food is very poor

Placement Experience:

There is no campus placements. After internship, my plan is to secure a PG seat in government medical college or I would be writing upsc exams for medical profession and will work in government hospital

Internships Opportunities:

After the 4.5 years of course there is a compulsary internship where we have to work in the college hospital. We will be receiving a stifend of around 5000-10000 Rs per month. Separate hostel facilities for interns are provided

What I Liked

the cafe is the best place in this college
the faculty is good but a little hard on first years

What I didn’t like

they r a little partial towards boys so we get less marks
we have less cadaver we have enef for the student still

mbbs learned in any college depends on how u study and how good u know the skills. thrn u can get any good job. the theory gives u only this much and even college the skills u learn is important thats what matters

Internships Opportunities:

no i havent we cant apply for intership for mbbs until we finish the full course we can do house surgeoncy in the same college only which is good if u have enef patients to treat after that u can either work or take pg

My college-a place to grow

What I Liked

College main thing I like is ,I GOT THE COLLEGE,beacuse it’s hard to get a private college at this price and the infrastructure is gud to go .Here I learnt one new language also which is very good with this
Our campus is also good ,all green ,never felt suffocated here,it rains and the environment is also good . Faculties are really helpful and knowledgeable as they all are experienced. And also we do get so many opportunities to prove ourself

What I didn’t like

One thing I don’t like about college is that it is a little more inside than the main city which makes it little difficult for the patients to reach
Secondly college can improve its infrastructure more ,not saying that it’s bad but still there is room for improvement

Placement Experience:

We don’t have a placement kind of option in college, we get our degree after completing the final year and then we do a one-year internship in college itself. Almost everyone joins private hospitals after getting out of college. Good oh and some go for PG Preparation and some go for govt jobs so it’s not difficult for MBBS doctors to get jobs after graduation.

Internships Opportunities:

No, I haven’t opted for such an mn internship because there is one compulsory training that we have to do (1 year) so we learn there. CRRI is the name for our training program, there we r posted in every dept weekly and we work under the doctors and learn.

Life at Mount zion

What I Liked

I like the greenery of the place. Other than that there is nothing much that I liked
The busses are the cheapest means to travel here

What I didn’t like

I didn't like a lot of things, the bad attitude of management and principal, poor mental health of students
Lack of patients, understaffed departments

Placement Experience:

Mbbs isn't really about placement. You're a doctor after internship and can join as per your liking. There is less patient flow as the college is in the middle of the jungle. Literally in the middle of nowhere.
