This college is a sisters institution. The discipline rules and regulations are very strictly followed. No mobile phones will be allowed. The college would allow all the inter College competitions and the college would conduct inner college competitions as well. There is a rotating trophy, given to the winning department each year within the college. To my knowledge, English department bagged the trophy for almost 30 years. The college calls the fest as "FINE ARTS". The college allows the students to take part in all the competitions. The college has library accordingly to the department. The resources are comparatively less to the other colleges in the city. The college shows huge support in sports. They have particular trainers for each sport. The college is accommodated with huge ground space to train and practice. The college conducts sports day each year to recognise the talent. Clubs: The college has NCC, NSS, orchestra, etc.

Social life is good people are very friendly. I have never experienced anything bad with my peers even the seniors were very supportive and nice towards us. We do not have a hostel facility and Saint Mary's everyone has two daily come to the college from their own homes.
