Dharpur Medical College

What I Liked

Central library of our college is good with Ac and 24 hr permission
Infrastructure is good but maintenance can be done better

What I didn’t like

Hostels needs to be renovated and maintained at regular basis
University is worst in world HNGU never misses their chance to disappoint us

Placement Experience:

Every student gets an internship in Dharpur hospital which is present on our campus. So there are no such difficulties in finding an internship. Patient flow is good so we get good exposure to diseases around us

Remarks:

The distance from my hometown and rank on a list of colleges for merit made me choose this college. No interviews are required to get into this college. Just marks in NEET matter to take admission here.

College having good campus but bad teaching

What I Liked

Infrastructure: My college's infrastructure is very well designed and also campus is very well managed and organized.
Campus life: Campus life is very lively

What I didn’t like

Faculty: Faculties are qualified but they don't have any interest in teaching
Unused labs: There are too many labs remaining locked they can be very effective tool for research

Placement Experience:

1)internship After completion of the final year, you have to do a compulsory internship rotation in which you will be given 19200/month stipend 2) Job after internship After the internship, you can take a NEET PG exam for post-graduation or you can opt for a job In Gujarat who take scholarships in our college have to do a compulsory 1-year bonded job(salary-70000/month approx.*) Highest package- 110000(or up to you, you can earn more than that as well) Average package-65000(approx*)

Remarks:

You need to take the NEET exam before admission and you have to get a good all-India rank (around 60k for the general category) to get admission into college. You have to apply online for the admission process on the Medadmgujarat website. After that, there will be Gujarat level rank and you will be selected according to rank (need at least 1.8k rank for the general category) there will be a minimum of 3 rounds for the admission process. The factors that made you choose my college were that "this college is recognized", "great campus", and "patient load". Good aspects of college 1). Great campus 2). Availability of 24×7 library 3). Big playgrounds for football and cricket 4). Various Day celebrations(eg Navratri, sports week) Bad aspects of college 1). They will teach you only in the first year no lectures or labs from 2nd year onwards

College ek Safar.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I selected this due to respect the common public gives to a doctor. Qualification of our faculties are nice as many of them had completed their masters and Specialist degree. Frequency of exam is high so we can't getting the proper time for preparation and syllabus is also very vast . Difficulty level is also quit good There are many scholarships such as MYSY, CMSS, DIGITAL GUJARAT, YUVA UNSTOPPABLE, ETC.

Remarks:

I got this college from the entrance examination known as NEET UG. So I selected it. There are many good things such as big campus and nice faculties and bad things such as it is far away from main city so we have to travel more . Admission process is also nice but a bit long and cut off depends on your category . I prepared with the help of my elder brother.

Huge & Decent College for MBBS

What I Liked

Big campus & infrastructure with 2 big sports grounds , gymnasium, auditorium, etc. facilities .
The hostel for students & interns is within the campus & walking distance away from the college & hospital .

What I didn’t like

Cleanliness is a little big of an issue here , with visitors in the hospital, it is difficult to maintain.
Transport is accessible, but no malls or big shopping mart is available nearby within 1km of area . Jio mart is 3-4km away .

Placement Experience:

There is one year of compulsory bond service for all students which is well paid, which you can continue after the bond service period or discontinue & join any other hospital run your clinic, or pursue your PG courses.

Remarks:

Many of my friends are studying in this college, their suggestions & reviews made me choose this particular college over the rest of others & also the transport facility outside the college campus is very easily accessible & easy to get to reach out to places for daily needs like grocery, fruits, restaurants, bus depot, etc. as the campus is on the state highway. You've to take the NEET UG examination for this course, The cut-off varies Every year for different colleges & keeps increasing by 10-15 marks yearly due to growing competition Preparation through online courses and YouTube videos is very reliable, easily accessible & easy to understand, so it was what I did
