You must know before joining EWCE.

What I Liked

I like the location where the college is situated.
Faculty is good and some of them are very friendly.

What I didn’t like

There is no proper campus life, no extracurricular activities. In name of sports they take students for VTU sports competition for college reputation
No attendance tracking facility. Teachers conduct attendance in sheets, and we do not have track of our attendance until the exam application dates.

Placement Experience:

We literally have no idea of placements. We asked the pass out civil students, they said " They are concentrating on CS, we dont know about us, hopefully you'll have placements till you come to graduation." We asked our present final year students. They are doing internships from outside for now. Placements aren yet guaranteed.

Internships Opportunities:

Internships for now is only for final year students. Although in the beginning of 3rd sem we had internship timings in our time table, but later on they edited it out and replaced it. I did a C programming internship in sem break in 1st year. Hopefully internship will be given in further sems.

About my experience in this college

What I Liked

Many faculty members at east west college of engineering or know for their dedication and are approachable when students need help with academics.
East West college of engineering provides a very balanced campus experience, with academic focus.

What I didn’t like

While East West college of engineering provides essential facilities, some students feel that the infrastructure including the labs and libraries could be more modern and better equipped.
The campus placement rate can vary significantly by department, with some streams experiencing better opportunity than others.

Placement Experience:

East West college of engineering has partnerships with a range of companies, primarily with the IT, software and core engineering sectors. While the placements may vary by department and year, students in computer science and other IT tend to have better placement outcomes. Salary package starts from 2.5 lpa to max 4 lpa.

Internships Opportunities:

Internship opportunities are able at east west college of engineering often providing students with practical exposure to industry requirements. Internships are essential in adding real world skills to the students protofoilo.

What I Liked

The laboratory, auditorium, classrooms and clean restrooms
Faculties have soft tone and do not talk in harsh manner

What I didn’t like

The ground in our college is small and hardly we can play any sport on tht
Some of the faculties communicate in kannada which is bit difficult for non regional students

Placement Experience:

Placements and job opportunities for aeronautical engineering are good in our college, I don't know about other departments, students who don't get placed mostly do online courses and try settling into them

Internships Opportunities:

No, i haven't opted for any internship program, however few of our faculties help students to find the best internship courses , many of my seniors have done internships in entrepreneurship and core based internship

MY EXPERIENCE IN COLLEGE

What I Liked

College was that impacted me but the surrounding and weather was really good
Infrastructure was pretty medium faculty was good campus life was somewhat okay

What I didn’t like

Many people skip the classes making the day boring and empty
Haven't got any complaint with faculty though

Placement Experience:

There aren't many placements happened As I was always a defence aspirant I was preparing for those exam all the time and didn't cared much about placements

Internships Opportunities:

Internship experience was pretty good myself and my friend went to did the internship together Roles were just surveying part We haven't got any stipend We worked on g+ 2 building construction from plinth to paramount

Best option for ur future

What I Liked

A very good environment and well maintained
Every year college fest will be conducted

What I didn’t like

Hostel food and small campus and for our branch ther is a minimum number of books in library
Boys hostel is little far from college. We should walk of 5 minutes

Placement Experience:

The average package is 5l per annum and as compared to other colleges our college is giving less placement opportunities only aeronautical engineering students get more number of placement in our college

Internships Opportunities:

Internship will be provided and it is not free of cost we should pay for it ther will more options like 7 days 15 days etc as number of days increase cost will be increasing and ther is no mandatory to join internship in our college you can join outside also

THE STRUGGLE WITH MY DEPARTMENT.

What I Liked

I liked the understanding between the teachers and students in other departments, they be friendly and motivate their department students and I wish my department would also be like that.

What I didn’t like

There's no proper conversation within the college departments and there are no fests.

Placement Experience:

Internships are taken by ourselves and placements are provided in other departments but it's not there in aeronautical and few staffs don't teach us and never provide us notes and they don't take good initiatives.

Internships Opportunities:

I had opted for internship in HAL aerospace division with my father's friends recommendation and college didn't provide us any such internships. I did it with my friends and got certificate for the internship.

Honest review

What I Liked

The faculties are we'll qualified and are we'll mannered
The campus life is wonderful and the environment is quite beautiful

What I didn’t like

There is no sports or other co curricular activities conducted
The infrastructure is quite old and not well maintained

Placement Experience:

The job opportunities are quite good and the minimum package is around 40000 the highest package is around 1 lakh and The recruit are quite good and there are lot of offers given to students and well

Internships Opportunities:

No I have not opted for any internship until now .There are many projects give to students to submit .There are many companies who come to our college to job interview placement. The salary given are 40000

What I Liked

Just vend ( vending machine)where we will get snack, chocolate,... etc
Natural around the college is good there is green life

What I didn’t like

Faculty are not so good they treat one student one way and other another way
There is no unity in members, lecture, principle

Placement Experience:

For placement this is not soo good compared to autonomous college.company will come but all will be agreement with less package.40-50% students will get place in college.after my degree I suppose to join corporate group

Internships Opportunities:

Our college provides intership but it's not so good as per my knowledge so I went outside to complete my intership there is stipends in the college intership. They will provide min project after intership but there is no assistance to complete that

Choose Wisely

Placement Experience:

The placement is not provided in this college. We need search for ourselves. In Bangalore numerous amount of placements can be seen and need to choose wisely according to our applicability. One of our college student got 60 lpa whi ch is highest till the date.

Internships Opportunities:

Internship programme starts from 3rd semester. Which the college provide 1 month time. But college does not support in providing internships. The main companies like tech Mahendra, Tata aerospace many more companies provide internships.
