With its inception in 1979, Karmaveer Bhaurao Patil College was established in Vashi. Affiliated to Mumbai University, the college is approved by the UGC and reaccredited by the NAAC in 2011. UG, PG and Phd Programs are offered here in diverse streams including Science, Arts and Commerce.

BSc is a popular course here, offered in 7 specialisations. The candidate should have cleared 10+2 with qualifying marks, in the relevant stream, for admission to this program. The total intake of the course is 443 seats. The total fee of the program ranges from Rs 11 Lakhs to Rs 66 Lakhs, based on the specialisation.
