The magical place

What I Liked

The infrastructure is really good and alot of space is there.
The faculty is also very good and the teaching quality is high.

What I didn’t like

The only thing I dislike about my college is the rules which are to be followed
Campus Life is really good and really happening.

Placement Experience:

Placements and job opportunities are the best to get in my college the highest package was 18 lacs and the lowest was 4.5lacs. most company recruitment takes place in my college. The main percentage required is 7.00 aggregate.

Internships Opportunities:

I have opted for internship in hospitals. In my second year I went to Park Hospital and in my 3 and 4th year I am doing internship in Indus Hospital. In my upcoming years I am hoping to get internship in Fortis hospital

My experience at Chandigarh

What I Liked

College is good with multiple green areas, canteens grounds and sitting place .though it feels so hot while power outage as there are no inverters and also there are good amount of labs with sufficient apparatus.

What I didn’t like

admission process in my experience wasn't good as when I contacted them they told me that seat is available in b pharmacy but when I reached college they started forcing me for biotechnology instead of b pharmacy and informed that there is not seat for pharmacy despite there admission cell themselves called me and told me to come college as seat is available.they made me to come and visit for various time just for admission in single campus staff don't know whether the seats are available or not
One person says that seat is available for admission while at the same time other says that there is not seat .they called me that seat is available you can come or take an admission in b pharmacy but when I reached college they started convincing me for biotechnology and teacher there was guaranting me that I will get 101%placement etc etc .

Placement Experience:

I am in first year so I don't know much about placement but yes attendance and zero supply is given priority for placement,,,,,and yes I amhave been added in a group where various internship opportunities are given offering work from home and on stipend base also.

Internships Opportunities:

Various internships are available but I haven't enrolled in any I have joined the whatsapp group which was told by my cc to join and everyone joined that that group posted multiple internships by Amazon, Microsoft, Infosys some internship were offering about 15k also

What I Liked

Have my parks and greenery in college . All buildings are nucely painted and decorated .
Their are many food spots for students . Everythink is worth trying in the college .

What I didn’t like

Till now everything is ok. Till now i have nit experienced anything bad .

Placement Experience:

College have good placements and internships but depends on your own studies . Their are placements but all students font get them because companies also want only the once tjose are good at studied .

Internships Opportunities:

No i have not opeted for any internship till now because iam in lower semester and cant get job right now so ill try my best and get a internship frim colleges that pays well and is respected by people .

Glimpse to the ccp

What I Liked

I personally like the environment of the college.
The campus is quite beautiful and decent.
Faculty is best in everything and the qualifications are high.
The fees structure is flexible for everyone.

What I didn’t like

The timetable for classes of students in college.
The Saturdays are off but the faculty is taking online classes which is difficult to attend .
Students behavior as fighting and indicipiline .

Placement Experience:

The placement rate of the college is best . Job opportunities are provided to the students when they are in 7- 8 semester ( final year ) As in pharmacy college the companies are visited some of are Cipla Forties Etc. The highest package of ccp is 48lpa and average package is 3lpa The cgpa should be maintained for like 8-9 for the placements. Currently I'm pursuing my b pharma course but i want to go for business side in this field like industrial and export - import.

What I Liked

Computer labs because they are well air conditioned.
Food stalls are also good they got some decent good.

What I didn’t like

Non Air Conditioned room the hot weather is not bearable in the campus no class is properly managed.
The building leaving rules no student can leave the building in between the class timming or during lab only allowed to leave building during lunch time.

Placement Experience:

From all the seniors we have heard that it’s not a great college for a good internship but if you have talent and luck on your side maybe you will land a good internship offer and maybe will have a good package in pharmacy field .

Internships Opportunities:

I haven’t opted for any internship yet but we have a separate subject to prepare us for interviews which was supposed to be from the first semester but as we did not hot that as a subject up until fifth semester.

A dive into insights of Chandigarh College Of Pharmacy , Landran

What I Liked

Faculty as they are very supportive and trains us to secure a bright future in the field . They also guide us for competitive exam GPAT.
Labs as they are well equipped and allow smooth conduction of practicals which is very important in pharmacy education.

What I didn’t like

I would say campus life as being a pharmacy student you dont have ample time to enjoy as you are always busy with studies and practicals.
infrastructure should be a little more catchy and attractive .

Placement Experience:

There are different career options after completing B pharmacy even if you don't get placed like medical writer, community pharmacist, and many more. you can try for off-campus placements as well or you can opt for MPharma or MBA. Colleges provide students with TPP sessions where they groom them for placements. companies such as Torrent, Sunpharma, Intas, Lucas, Cipla, Ranbaxy, and many more visit campus to recruit students for different positions. In the year 2023 highest package offered was 5.5lpa and average was 3.5lpa and the lowest was 2lpa. Around 95 students got placed and others were opting for higher studies.

Internships Opportunities:

The college provides internships with its pharmaceuticals and Lucas pharmaceuticals for roles such as quality control and assurance. Other than that you can pursue other MOOC courses to strengthen your concepts for better placement options. College collaborations with NIPER Mohali for student training programs.

4 years journey in CGC Landran

What I Liked

The campus infrastructure is very attractive and a very aesthetic environment is provided to study.

What I didn’t like

There is nothing much that I dislike about the campus l, but the food in canteen is very bad and a real waste of money.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities were very good, I have got 4 placement offers and all of them above 3LPA. We have a specialised TPP department that trains the students to improve their skills for interview and placements.

Internships Opportunities:

I have opted for internship in the FDC limited, in the production department. The stipend was not provided as an intern. We were also told to prepare a project report about the internship and the role tha I have done in the company.
