- Faculty as they are very supportive and trains us to secure a bright future in the field . They also guide us for competitive exam GPAT.
- Labs as they are well equipped and allow smooth conduction of practicals which is very important in pharmacy education.
Dislikes
- I would say campus life as being a pharmacy student you dont have ample time to enjoy as you are always busy with studies and practicals.
- infrastructure should be a little more catchy and attractive .
Remarks :
My admission was done based on my 12th score. There is no such written exam or other criteria to take admission it is solely based on a 12th score i.e. above 65%. while I was opting for admission I did a deep research on college and found it the best in the minimum range of fees and after starting my studies from here at Chandigarh College of Pharmacy to the extent I am satisfied with the college. The teaching method is awesome. PCI curriculum is followed here and the whole syllabus is thoroughly covered before the semester ends. Labs are well equipped and all the practicals designed in the curriculum are thoroughly covered and every student has to perform them. along with this college has its well-equipped CIL where all the high-level machinery required in the field of pharmaceutical science is available so the students working on research projects do not have to go elsewhere to get their experiment reports. Placement is also good for an average package of around 3.5lpa.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I had a deep interest in medicine so I chose this course. The college faculties are amazing and they have their highest qualification of PhD in the pharmaceutical background and the minimum qualification is MPharma. College comes under IKGPTU Jalandhar so exams are conducted based on the university curriculum. total 3 exams one needs to give in a semester i.e 2 mst and 1 end sem(final). Exam question covers the whole semester syllabus so one has to study hard to pass with a good sgpa. There is no fee hike for old students. the fees mentioned at the time of admission are carried till the end of the course but for new admission fee hike is there. every new batch has different and more fees than the previous one. A sibling scholarship is provided if your siblings are studying here apart from that there are scholarships for Jammu and Kashmir students. There is no merit scholarship on the basis of your SGPA in semester exams.
Internships Opportunities :
The college provides internships with its pharmaceuticals and Lucas pharmaceuticals for roles such as quality control and assurance. Other than that you can pursue other MOOC courses to strengthen your concepts for better placement options. College collaborations with NIPER Mohali for student training programs.
Placement Experience :
There are different career options after completing B pharmacy even if you don't get placed like medical writer, community pharmacist, and many more. you can try for off-campus placements as well or you can opt for MPharma or MBA. Colleges provide students with TPP sessions where they groom them for placements. companies such as Torrent, Sunpharma, Intas, Lucas, Cipla, Ranbaxy, and many more visit campus to recruit students for different positions. In the year 2023 highest package offered was 5.5lpa and average was 3.5lpa and the lowest was 2lpa. Around 95 students got placed and others were opting for higher studies.
Campus Life :
Campus life is good. The college has a beautiful lust green campus with wonderful infrastructure. Classrooms and labs are well equipped with all the necessities. The rich library is there. Students have access to all the books, ebooks, and journals. events and fests keep on happening throughout the semesters with one annual fest named Parivartan. Competitions keep on taking place. Interactive sessions and seminars are organized with industry persons and researchers. The college also takes us on industrial visits and educational trips.

To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
