- From the infrastructure I like about various facilities like swimming pool, cricket stadium, various sports facilities, SAC, GYM etc
- Faculty- Some faculty members are very supportive and give us guidance and help us to real world projects. I like campus life when students crowd in the SAC AREA COMPLEX AREA and so on.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure- ECE Buildings and hostel bathroom should be renovated. It should be painted.
- I don't like faculty members who doesn't support some students who do partiality and some professors are rude. And I don't like the student who spread dirtiness in the campus etc
Remarks :
Looking to the SLIET campus is so large and the beautiful infrastructure in the campus . Swimming pool, Cricket stadium and other sports and co curricular area is situated here and most valuable thing ROI RETURN ON INVESTMENT attract me so that i choosed it. Admission process is based on JEE MAINS SCORE and No I can't faced in problem for taking admission into this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I Choosed this because of good and supportive professors for instrumentation engineering are available here and it provides maintained and clean environment campus life. Professors are well qualified and well educated somehow some faculty members are not too much teachable and supportive as compare to others. Teachers teach using marker or with PPT. Within a gap of 1 or 2 motnhs exams are taken 2 internal examination and the last is end term examination. Difficulties level is moderate to tough but not much tough.
Internships Opportunities :
No I don't opted any internship right now. Internship Opportunities are rarely available for students only 2 and 3 year students get rarely and work on it. Some companies in which students got internship into are, google, honeywell, Siemens etc.
Placement Experience :
Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Detailed UG Course Fee Structure- 1st year rs 92000 And after that 75000 from Second year thoughout the course the academic fees will be same. This includes academic and hostel fees both as well caution, registration fees, etc and nothing else you should pay. After that Mess fees is currently rs 3027 per month. It can be increase depending on the time. Approximately in 5 Lakh we can complete our graduation. Scholarship is also provided to students belonging different categories like ST, SC, OBC and other financial aid.
Campus Life :
Recently in month of 19 of September 2025 techfest was organized in our campus. And Culture Fest called MADHURAM Is going to be held in the month of April . There many books and digital library is facilitated in the campus. Every month endless sports and extra co curricular activities is organized like cricket, singing, chess, volleyball, literature, competitions. There many clubs in which students explore like , Endeavour, Mevricks, Cycleone, Happy Club etc
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel fees is included in academic fees. Hostel food is decent there should be improvement not too much good. When you report for admission in the college at that time instantly hostel is alloted. Hsitel infrastructure is descent in BH 8 But few hostels are more development like bh 9,10 2,1 .

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
