- I like how they give practical knowledge not just inside the class room teaching but always be first to encourage the student to learn more and more practical knowledge by real life problems , competitions etc..
- All the faculty are very friendly , which makes the students comfortable enough to share their doubts and discuss . Faculty is very highly qualified and clear every query students have.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure is a little bit old and need to renovated.
- Faculty is some times a bit strict and we may feel uninterested.
Remarks :
The first thing made me choose LPU is the affordable fee and the main thing is the admission are open for the long time and I wrote the LPUNEST exam for admission and there is no interview are something. And you need score good marks for better scholarship GOOD THINGS They provide the service to comminute with them and friendly, and they speak with as with very details about the college rules and ever thing
Course Curriculum Overview :
i chose this course because like about space and my childhood dream to create aircraft and modern design for IAF and IRSO and to work with them and gain more knowledge faculty teaching is good and they are highly talented in there respective course and exam are conducted in (TWO CA"S AND MID TERM , END TERM PRATICAL AND END TERM EXAM )and for CA"s 10 marks each and mid is 15 and ETP IS 20 MARKS AND ETE IS 40 MARKS and 5 marks for attendant's
Internships Opportunities :
since i am in 2nd year i do not no much about internship but i need to do internship in 3rd year and i need to some research and select company and the skills i need for the role . but currently some off my senior brother got internship in some drones related company like ISRO, HAL
Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Before taking admission try to write the LPUNEST Exam , where they give me scholarship based on the time you applied for it. They provided scholarship of (100%) you applied and scored high marks. and then by(75%,50%) so give to the students applied for 2 and 3 round And for my course TUITION FEE IS 215000 AND I PAY ONLY 140500 RUPEES ONLY EXAM FEE 4500 PER SEM and few of my friend from sports quota they that more scholarship and they have there benefits
Campus Life :
in our campus fest and events are conducted everyday there is a event and students can attend those events and they get DL (duty leaves ) for attends and major fest are like ONE INDIA , IN ( DEC) AND ONE WORD ( IN APRIL) they recreate the states and country and there lifestyle and culture and if i talk about sports they conducted between inter schools and also between inter hostel and there are many clubs ( if any one intersested can join they take interview and they select ) and clubs are therevin DSW division of student wing and if i talk about social media there are many pages ilke LPU offical and many pages and they post about the events and and many more information.
Hostel Facilities :
Application for hostel they will tell while taking admission they provided AC and NON AC ROOMS for 1,2,3,4,5 seater rooms are available and fee is different for each room. And my is NON AC room is cost is 93000 but if pay 10000 in advance they EDB they provided 10000 discount and my current hostel fee after paying that 10000 is 73000 rupees and if i talk about mess food in my hostel we two mess and they provide south and north food and combo . PG ROOMS are available in areas like LAW GATE , GREEN VALLEY( HIGH COST) , DEEP NAGAR (LOW COST ) , JALANDHAR and PHAWAGAR also available. room rent start from 6000 to 12000 per month

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
