- Lpu is good better than private college in its range. Faculties are good here
- Management is very good inspite of being having 35000 crowd the I didn't face any problem regarding management
Dislikes
- There is very heat in punjab, and the faculty here is not good
- There is no time to learn extra skills , due to classes, and the exams
Remarks :
The admission in this university was only on basis of Lpunest. There were no Group discussion, or interviews. The mode of the exam was online and offline. The exam was proctored. Tbh I had no other option left to join this college I wanted a govt college and I had not given exam like srmjee or viteee so I was the best college in the range of private college I was looking for. The admission in this college is very easy they take every child.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Teachers here say that our course curriculum is designed to adhere latest technologies and is the best amongst all colleges. I would say the faculty here is not good they are just freshers who did their masters from lpu itself. The btech course I chose because of my own interest. Some teachers are of PhD level and some are of master level only. The exams here are very hectic like every week exams are going on
Internships Opportunities :
I have not opt for any intership because I'm a fresher myself so till now I didn't got the chance to try to get intership but yeah people says that college provide interships and the the highest internship was of about 62 thousand rupees as stipend
Placement Experience :
Placement are not good they fake advertise that their student got 3 crore package but the reality is very different the average package is 4 lakh rupees and they provide interships but the people have not calibre to get the intership highest package last year was 52 lakh
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure for btech in CSE is 2,80,000 per year. It is only the tution fee. The admission fee was 15000. The fee is increased yearly previous year it was ?100,000 for the same course, but it is increased by 40000 this year and this will be the fee for 4 years. There are many scholarships given in a pool of total ?300 crores. My fee after scholarship was 105,000. Scholarships are given in basis of Lpunest exam , defence quota, and scholarships for meriticolous students. The fee is less I think for SC/St quota
Campus Life :
The best about this college is campus life. There is good no of 35000 students enrolled in this university, and there are 6000 foreign students. So you'll get a good exposure here. You will get to chill here with your friends all the day, till now our annuall fest is not conducted yet but there are many event happening daily, some speakers, influencers come here like daily. The sports is very much encouraged here, 28 Olympians was from lpu itself. There are many clubs which you can join for your interests and the clubs are good here
Hostel Facilities :
Hostels here are good and the mess food is decent but the food I don't think is nutritious they don't give any fruit daily. And the thing I like about my mess is hygiene. Applying to hostels is very easy you can do it on your lpu touch app at the time on admission. The menu is good but sometimes I don't like the taste of food and the rice and chapattis are not cooked properly, there are pg available outside but the area is not good outside

if you are above 6.0 cgpa and no reappears and backlogs your are eligible for 70 % of companies. recently TCS,AMAZON,COGNIZANT also came for placement highest is 51LPA,6LPA avg. 80% of each batch is placed.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
