- The campus life here is amazing. The infrastructure is well built.
- The faculties here are eager to help you in every situation.
Dislikes
- There might be a language barrier and if you are not well in english you might get problem in speaking.
- You might get home sickness if you are doing nothing in the class.
Remarks :
Some courses here require interview but most courses are without any interview. The admission process is very easy, no need to submit original documents, only soft copy is required. Students has to give a scholarship exam (LPUNEST) if they want a discount in their course fees.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because I wanted to be a Crime scene investigator. The Faculties here have done masters and PhD in their respective fields and are very helpful for the students. Mid term starts from September and ends on October whereas End term starts from November and ends in December.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees of this course is 80000 rupees per semester. The registration charge for scholarship exam is 1000 rupees and admission fees is 15000 which will be deducted from your semester fees. Because of the scholarship, I am paying 52000 per semester.
Campus Life :
All types of books are available in the central library. There are all sorts of text book and reference books regarding each course and subjects. Classrooms are very big and well air conditioned. Indoor and outdoor sports are available in the campus.
Hostel Facilities :
The infrastructure of the hostel is very good. The hostel mess meal is quite good but can differ with different taste buds. The registration for hostel is also available online or can be done after coming into the university for admission. There is also a discount of 10000 rupees in hostel if you avail for the hostel online.

To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
