Dislikes
- What I really dislike about the college is the amount students they intake. I have no complaints about infrastructure as it is really beautiful and big.
- No complaints about the campus life also as there are huge events always happening.
Remarks :
The best aspect is the course affordability as it is cheaper than other private colleges with same or more benefits. The campus is really huge with most of the facilities available. There are variety of foods available on campus with reasonable prices. There is a mall, Domino's and subway on the campus. One of the best thing about the college is that they really focus on sports there is a huge sports complex with every sport available you can do shooting, archery, swimming, play badminton, volleyball, basketball, etc. The classes are clean and have Air conditioners in each class. Most of the faculty is very helpful and sweet but there are some profesors who exploit there power. As for the bad aspects, there are huge amount of students in the college, almost 30000 learners. As I mentioned above some of the faculty is very rude. Placements are good company's do come but you will have fight with a huge crowd to get that job, so you will have to be very very good in academics and skills.
Course Curriculum Overview :
As for the curriculum, a semester here lasts about 4 months. Where they teach you for a month then take mid terms, again they teach for another month and take end terms and in between they take 3 class tests for each subject. So the curriculum is really hectic it's really hard to clear backlog if you missed any class. You won't even notice when the test came. The level of tests is also high leaving the first semester aside as it is really easy to score marks in it. Very few faculty is really good at teaching whereas others just come in the class to time pass.
Placement Experience :
As I have mentioned above the placements are good many companies do come here but the biggest problem is the amount of students fighting for the placement. Everyone gets the opportunity to sit in the placement. The only thing that yiu need is good skills and a good cgpa.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Back in 2023, the fees for B.Tech(CSE) was 120000 per semester without any scholarship. There is a exam conducted by LPU known as LPUNEST, registration fees for the exam is 1000 rupees but you can find coupon codes on YouTube or the internet. This exam is for scholarship purpose. The maximum scholarship which can be attained is 30 percent and the minimum is 20 percent. To clear the you will need around 100 to 120 marks out of 400. Another way to get scholarship is from JEE MAINS exam, 20 percent on scoring 80 percentile, 25 percent on 90 percentile and 30 on 95 percentile. LPU will take examination fee every semester which varies from 4000 to 8000 for now and additional fines for damaging university property.
Campus Life :
The campus life is awesome there are many singers coming in college to perform. Many places to to hangout and have dinner with friends. Variety of clubs available to join. There is a seperate building for club activities know as students welfare wing.
Hostel Facilities :
The hostels are really good, they provide hostels at a very affordable price with many options. For two person room you will have to pay 100000 rupees per year, fir 3 person 90000, for 4 person 80000, for 5 70000 every year for without AC. With AC room only cost 10000 more then the the non AC room. There are many hostels so the mess for each hostel is different some hostel provide really good food and some provide bad food. As for renting a room it'll cost around 6 to 8 thousand rupees per month without food out side the campus.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
