- I like the infrastructure of the college as it is modern and well maintained with good classrooms, labs and library facilities. I also like the faculties as they are very supportive.
- I love the campus life as it is active with various events, clubs, and various activities which make the overall experience more enjoyable
Dislikes
- The college fees is quite high comparing to the facilities provided and there are also additional charges for exams, events and other things.
- The main food qualities average and can be repetitive sometimes which may not suit everyone.
Remarks :
I chose this college because of its good placement record. The college has a decent reputation for academics and career opportunities. The admission process was simple and mainly based on my previous academic performances. There was no GD aur PI required in my case. The cutoff was moderate so student with average marks can also get admission here. Some good aspects of this college is it's infrastructure, good placement opportunities and supportive faculty however the fees is a bit high and rules can be strict at times overall the college provide a good environment for the students.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum and academics are good and teachers plays an important role in guiding students throughout the course. I chose this course because it a line with my interest and of a good career opportunity in the future the course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which help in building a strong foundation. The academics are properly managed, syllabus is updated according to the industries requirement also regular assignments presentations and practical work are given to improve understanding.
Internships Opportunities :
I did training from excellence technology and think next technology. Both the companies were different and I did two projects one was based on aiml and other was based on python react js etc. the first project was totally based on calorie burn prediction using AIML and the second project was content based image retrieval using deep feature.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The total fees for the course is around 6 to 7 lacs. The fees includes tuition, admission, labs and other development charges there is also a small admission fees which is around 10000 at the beginning. Exam fees are charged separately in every semester and it is same for all category.
Campus Life :
Campus life at cgc landran is good and active. The college organise it's main fest Parivartan usually in september or October which includes cultural event and competitions. The infrastructure is well developed and spacious classroom, labs and Wi-Fi facilities. Every class has a projector for better learning. The library has a good collection of books and journals for the students. There are various clubs and student groups for technical, cultural, and sports activities.
Hostel Facilities :
I opted for hostel at CGC landran. The infrastructure is good with clean rooms and basic facilities like bed, almirah, study table, chair, Wi-Fi facility and security. Bahut easy non AC rooms are available. The best food quality is average. Menu is fixed with veg and non veg options. Food is hygienic but can feel repetitive sometime. The hostel registration process is simple and done during the admission process by feeling the form. Rooms are allotted on first come first serve basis. The hostel fees is around 1.2 lakh per year which is bit expensive. I did not opt for PG as I stayed in hostel.

To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
