Likes
- The thing which attracts me the most is the library. Absolutely amazing place, a person can be, especially the novel section. Also, you can order books which are not present or available in the library. You can issue up to 3 books for 14 days or just sit there and enjoy your readings.
- Next thing is the campus life, unlike other universities, here we do not have the concept of ragging and anyone no matter junior or senior cannot mess up with each other and the safety is of another level. There are zero blind spots in the campus which makes any student irrespective of the gender feel safe.
Dislikes
- The most irritating part of the university is their fine part. Like if you do anything wrong which you were not supposed to do, they directly will put a fine on you without giving any warning, this could go from a fine to getting your scholarship cancelled to getting you out of the university. But that is the only thing holding this university.
- Second is their hectic schedule and long gaps. I don't know how they prepare the timetable, but they give a huge gap between two consecutive classes, which is really hard for the day scholars to tolerate.
Remarks :
Taking about the test there was a scholarship test known as LPUNEST that is an optional test. Anyone can get admission in the college the only catch is the fee that is really high. About choosing this college, the thing is its placement records are really amazing and also their curriculum is fabulous and really tough which adds another point to its positiveness.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course as this is the near future, anyone with this course won't be unemployed and that is absolutely true. Qualifications of the faculty is that they all have a minimum a degree in master's and their teaching style and method is really different than other universities like they really put effort in their teaching, it's like they want to be updated and learn too. Now the most hectic part is exam. The exams are divided into three categories, first is CA, second is midterm and last is end term. So each subject has 3-4 CAs and then the mid-terms and then finally end terms. CAs are conducted in a gap of 1-2 week where as midterm is taken in the half of the semester and then comes the end term.
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any internships as I am currently in second year and these things would be loaded on us in the third year. Like really nor have I applied for any neither got any internship from the university.
Placement Experience :
There is really a good opportunity for placements in this university. There is a mentor allocated to each student which informs him/her about the companies that are coming to the university and in which of the companies he/she should take part too. Even so if a person doesn't get selected by any reason, he/she should keep his/her focus on increasing his/her focus and keep on trying for off campus placements. I have seen people with less than 6.5 CGPA getting placed. About the package range it has been from lowest 2.5lakhs to highest 1cr.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
So total fee costs around Rs. 120000 per semester and there are 2 semesters in a year. However, there is a scholarship test which is known as LPUNEST which gives up to 30% scholarship. Now about the increasing part, yes it increases like ten thousand but that is for the new batch, it won't be applicable for the native batch.
Campus Life :
Campus life is really amazing. There are several events that occur like every month and then the campus itself is a place to hang out, no one can explore the entire campus in one semester and that is a fact and beauty of Lovely. Now taking about the favorite thing that I like about this place is the library which is on another level. I haven't really seen a place like it before in my entire life. One can read or take the books from there and there are absolutely no issues. Then there comes the star of the university that is the clubs, we have a club for dancing, singing, musical instruments, literary you name it, which is another amazing quality of the university.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
