KHIT Guntur established in 2010, is a private institution approved by the AICTE. It is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTUK), Kakinada.

KHIT offers B.Tech as its flagship course. The fee for B.Tech is INR 1.89 lakhs. The eligibility criteria is that the candidate should have completed 10+2 in the Science stream from a recognized institute or board. KHIT also offers an MBA program with specialization in 3 areas. The fee for an MBA is INR 70K. The eligibility criteria for this course is that the candidate should be a graduate in any discipline with a score of 50% marks. The selection process is based on the scorecard of AP-ICET and CAT.

KHIT also offers NSF scholarships and merit scholarships to its candidates. The eligibility for these scholarships are annual income of parents should be less than 2 Lakhs, the AP-EAMCET rank should be less than 15000 for admission in B.Tech Ist year Regular, and the APEAMCET rank should be less than 10000 for admission in B.Tech IInd year Lateral Entry.
