Pertaining to the cancellation of the 12th class exam, the 25% weightage given to the 12th mark sheet has been removed. Examinations held in multiple sessions can often lead to discrepancies in the difficulty level of the paper. The differences can cause a serious effect on the evaluation of a candidate’s performance, and lead to an erroneous merit list. In competitive exams where a single point can be the difference between a candidate getting selected or rejected, it is important that we strive for the most balanced result process. Normalization of scores can solve this problem.
The normalization of scores is applied to the raw scores obtained by students in their respective papers. The once 75% weightage of normalization scores has now been increased to 100% for AP EAPCET (AP EAMCET) 2021 in the absence of class 12th scores.
|RANK||CANDIDATE NAME||AP EAPCET NORMALIZED MARKS|
|1||Koyi Sree Nikhil||158.3400|
|2||Varada Mahanth Naidu||156.3440|
|3||Duggineni Venkata Paneesh||156.2767|
|4||Savaram Divakar Sai||156.2767|
|5||Nelluru Mourya Reddy||155.6176|
|6||Kakunuri Shashank Reddy||155.1510|
|8||Suravarapu Harsha Varma||153.9038|
Cutoff lists determine the minimum baseline requirement of marks for admission into any course or college after EAPCET. Each participating institute and its correspondence course has a separate cut off list, which quantifies the minimum mark requirement. The rank list is used to segregate top-performing students and students who have any chance of admission into any of the courses from the rest of the applicants.
The rank list of the EAPCET is based on the normalized scores obtained after the conclusion of all the exams. Candidates with scorers either more than or equal to the cut off are a part of the rank list. Performing the best in EAPCET 2021 is incredibly important, as 100% of the selection weightage depends on the exam cut off list.
Candidates can use the cut off list of the previous year as a frame of reference as to where their cut off will likely fall.

|OU (Male)||1||8320 (Special Category)|

The counselling process for the EAPCET participating colleges begins soon after the release of the results. Candidates in the rank list must register themselves for counselling through the official website. The counselling form, once filled, must be downloaded and printed out.
Candidates must pay the fee to qualify themselves for counselling. The fee can be paid online through a debit card/credit card or net banking link at the official website (apEAPCET.nic.in) via the ‘Pay Processing Fee’ link.
The seats in the participating colleges are processes and allotted as per the centralized counselling schedule. Candidates meeting the cutoff are given the option to pick their preferred colleges and courses, with the seats decreasing as the top cadre get its ‘first come, first serve’ seats. Candidates can access their counselling details and seat allotment letter from the ‘login’ section of the website. The allotment is based on the candidate’s preferences, category, merit, sex, special quotas and geographical conditions.
AP EAPCET (AP EAMCET) Phase 3 answer key has been released separately for each shift. Phase 4 answer key will be released soon.
