Impact College Patna, also known as the Institute of Management and Planning and Advanced Computer Training, is a private Bihar institution established in 2014. It is affiliated with Aryabhatta Knowledge University for management, commerce, computer applications and media programmes, Bihar Engineering University for B.Tech, and Patliputra University for law programmes. MBA and MCA hold AICTE approval.

The college operates from a City Campus on Bailey Road and a Main Campus at Gaurichak, Sampatchak. It does not currently appear in NIRF or other major national ranking lists. Its programmes include B.Tech, BBA, BCA, B.Com Professional, BA JMC, MBA and MCA.

Impact College Admission Process

Admission uses programme-specific eligibility, academic performance and entrance-test scores where applicable. Most UG and PG programmes use IMPACT-ICAT and/or merit. Admission is confirmed after document verification and payment of the prescribed fee.

• B.Tech: Selection uses IMPACT-ICAT and merit-based criteria. Applicants need 10+2 with at least 50% aggregate marks in PCM. JEE Main and BCECE scores are accepted under Bihar Engineering University norms, with BEU centralised counselling based on rank and choice filling.
• MBA and MCA: Applicants need a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks. Selection can use IMPACT-ICAT or accepted national examinations including CAT, MAT, CMAT and XAT.
• UG Programmes: BBA, BCA, B.Com and BA JMC admission is based on IMPACT-ICAT and/or merit, subject to programme eligibility.

Impact College Placements

The Impact College Patna placement report for 2026 has not been released. The latest available data reports a 90% placement rate and a highest package of INR 18 LPA. NIRF 2025 data separately records a median salary of INR 3.50 LPA for the three-year UG programme, with 57 of 208 graduates placed.

Recruiters also include Airtel, Deloitte, Genpact, Infosys and KPMG. Pre-placement training in aptitude, communication and technical skills is mandatory for final-year students.

Impact College Scholarships

Impact College offers Admission and Merit Scholarships for the 2026-27 session. Scholarships are based on academic merit and, where applicable, IMPACT-CAT, ICAT, 2026 performance. Eligible students can receive a tuition-fee scholarship of up to 60%.

For direct merit admission, UG, diploma and integrated-programme scholarship eligibility uses 10+2 marks, while PG scholarship eligibility uses graduation marks. ICAT-based scholarship eligibility depends on CET score or rank. The scholarship remains valid for the academic programme and applicable semesters, subject to continuation requirements.

Impact College Campus and Infrastructure

Impact College has two Patna campuses. The City Campus at Bailey Road is the administrative and management-programme hub, while the Main Campus at Gaurichak, Sampatchak contains engineering and computer-science facilities, including AI-ML and software labs for B.Tech and MCA students.

Facilities include a central library for management, engineering and law resources, BCA and MCA computer labs, and a language and media laboratory for BA JMC.

Hostel Fees

Separate hostel accommodation for male and female students costs INR 36,000 per semester, including mess charges. The stated annual charge is INR 72,000, plus a refundable hostel security deposit of INR 10,000.

For BBA, BCA, BA JMC and B.Com students, the three-year hostel and mess cost is INR 2.16 Lakhs, excluding the security deposit. Including the deposit, the initial three-year cost is INR 2.26 Lakhs. Day scholars can use transport at INR 3,000 per month.
