Your honest guide for Sharda University

What I Liked

The campus life is quite happening as the students are from different parts of the countries and there are many international students as well. So it creates a good space for interactions and connecting with different people. The faculties as I mentioned are very helpful and friendly in nature. They guide the students as much as possible.
The infrastructure of the university is quite good and there are various well equipped labs and workshops according to the demand of each course. The libraries and auditoriums are also well built and are very spacious. The photography lab is well equipped with proper dslr and camera required for the students.

What I didn’t like

One thing I dislike about the infrastructure in my university is that the lifts are very slow and steady. It sometimes get very irritating to wait for the lift when you are getting late for the classes. And , as there are atleast 7-8 floors in each block we cannot use the stairs that much as well because of lack of time.
The faculties are little less in numbers as the university is new and they are still working on there resources. This sometimes causes a lot of burden on the senior faculties which leads to less time for the students.

Placement Experience:

Eligibility criteria for placement is that the student should not have below 7 CGPA in every semester. Some big companies that visit the university for placement are TCS, Infosys, Microsoft and amazon. The highest package this year was 12 LPA and the average package offered was 7 LPA for the UG students. The percentage of students getting placed is around 80-85%. I am also planning to get the university placement after completion of my degree or if I get better packages outside the campus placement I will be open for them as well.
