Sharda is a nice college overall

What I Liked

The infrastructure is great. The faculty is also great.
I’d rate my campus life a solid 8 out of 10.

What I didn’t like

For Faculty I would give a solid 8 marks out of 10.
For the Infrastructure of the university I would an 8.5.

Hostel Facilities:

I didn’t opt for college hostel. It was a bit costly and you can get a better room at a way lesser price if you get a pg. i think in a pg it would cost you around 15k-20k per month and in the hostel it would be like 20-30k per month, I’m not sure of the exact price.

Campus Life:

In sharda, there are a lotttt of fests, every now and then something or the other is always happening. They bring singers, bands, actors quite often to the university. You will not be bored, trust me. All classrooms have projectors and smart boards. You also get a huge library, they have manyyyy books. Block 7 is fully air conditioned. Humanities classes are held only in block 7.

Sharda University SHSS

What I Liked

The entire department building has centralized AC.
The classrooms in SHSS are clean and spacious.

What I didn’t like

The campus Wi-Fi is abismal and is at times worse than 4G
The Network connectivity is terrible at times.
The IT department is also not helpful, I contacted them multiple times complaining about the poor Wi-Fi. IT department's response was either, "Try rebooting the device" or "Your device is too old get a new one"

Hostel Facilities:

The hostels are too expensive for what they're worth, I am in a 9 feet by 12 feet two seater room which costs me 190000 annually and since It Is an AC room It costs an extra 20000 security deposit too. The food is... Manageable at best.

Campus Life:

The library is adequate if you only need the books from your syllabus. The art club is... Useless to say the least. It's just a whatsapp group to share your artwork with others and get information about art related events they organise sometimes. The Wi-Fi and network is really bad so don't fall for the "Wi-Fi campus" on the brochures.

What I Liked

I like about my college is that , the professors are very concerned and teaches valuable things. secondly, I like the campus life as it gives us a good vibes also there are very interesting fests and people enjoys a lot
this university gives cultural and moral values to students and has a diverse culture teaches discipline and course syllabus is also good.

What I didn’t like

infrastructure is very nice but many buildings are under construction so there is very much dust outside.
the second thing i dislike about the students here are very judgemental they makes other students uncomfortable by their looks etc.

Hostel Facilities:

food quality is not good as every hostel's food quality is. menu changes every year. hostel rooms are available for students according to merit basis. I am staying in side the campus hostel named Mandela hostel there are many hostels too for both boys and girls. rooms are not good according to fees also for this fee is very high and every year fee increased to +5000

Campus Life:

campus life is so cool as Sharda's campus is 63 acres huge. gives a very good vibe . infrastructure is also good. many fests are also conducted here like the biggest fest is chorus here and many more students enjoys a lot. there is a huge library named Vivekananda library and all the books are available there . There is a very peace and calm environment in library every can comfortably sit and study there. there is clubs according to courses like in psychology there i a newly club that is psykins that student run by themselves.

The life at sharda University

What I Liked

The infrastructure of the college is very beautiful there is ac in all the classes something you just feels like to sit there and relax there is almost everything in the campus , swimming pools , sports area , eating area and everything
The campus life is great as you get to experience different adventure on every other day there are so many things to explore out here and so many opportunities that would be provided to you different types of clubs dancing singing fashion and etc

What I didn’t like

There is not much to dislike about just as to the classrooms are not well managed and there are no constant serving of things
The lifts of the college does not work properly and the catten areas are expensive and not much space to sit

Campus Life:

The campus life at University is as you can say the greatest the types of events happening keeps you engaged and you does not feel tired or bored and uninterested there are events on University levels as well as department level which also help you understand your course in a fun and interesting manner , the introduction and the interaction you get with international students helps you understand different cultures and enhances your communication skills.

What I Liked

I like the outer physical insfracture of the campus but for library I like both inside and outside infrastructure

What I didn’t like

I don’t like hostel, rooms, foods, wardens, hostel rules etc

Hostel Facilities:

Hostel part is the worse of all in my college life . The fees part doesn’t make sense because it’s above 2 lakh with that too so tiny room with no good electricity nor infrastructure nor water. For applying hostel room we have to book 1 month prior by paying 50000 for non ac and 1 lakh for ac to reserved our seat in the hostel or they would act like it’s all full but in reality they were just making a reserve for the freshers

Campus Life:

Life at campus is more than what I expected it is what exactly it looks like what a good college life is like those of Bollywood movies we used to see. I made some of good friends especially because of them i enjoy my college life without them i couldn’t imagine my college life. College have divided into many clubs like diversity club, fashion club, rock club etc
