The interenship is compuslory as per nmc guidelines. The posting in each department ia fixed according to the state medical board. Different department have different days of duty and working hours. .

No I haven't opted for any internship as of now But there is an option for applying to internships after completion of our degree before completion there is no need for it as seen .. also internships are hard and gruelling for mbbs students

No, I'm in 1st year so there is no internship for 1 year students. We visit hospitals. We will have posts for different departments in hospitals in 2 to 5 years that are more like an internship and learning a lot.
