What I Liked

College have best campus , best teaching staffs and other faculties too .
They provide best clinical experience for students

What I didn’t like

Extra price should be paid for the instruments and books

I have chosen this course because it was dream to become a dentist and treat patients and help people to build smile on face .Faculties are well educated and experienced , and they all are doctors .Yearly we will have 3 internal exams and 1 university exam at the end of the year .

Placement Experience:

No campus placement is provided but they are giving one year of internship in same college. But we have concession in fees if we are doing MDS in the same college. I am planning to do MDS in same college.

What I Liked

Yenepoya university is the best university for students who want their education and experience back in school to the fullest possible and to be a part in their education and education journey in a meaningful and lasting change for their future endeavors in life.

What I didn’t like

There’s no dislike about the college, infrastructure, faculty and campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In yenepoya dental college for bds course as of now we’ve University exam in the end of every year coming up with three internals, and the faculty and the way of their teaching method is way good and their way of teaching is great.

Placement Experience:

The placement and job opportunities as of now I’ve no idea about it. Cause I’m the student in here and I’ll only get to know about this after completing my BDS course. There’s a lot of opportunities to learn about this.

What I Liked

Library facilities In college cafe And mess with affordable meals
There is also a football turf and other sports facilities like badminton , basketball etc

What I didn’t like

Ragging in evident Poor attitude of some staff
Not much focus on mental health Too much pressure

I chose this course as i had an interest in medical industry. The faculty is extensive and there are well qualified faculty in some departments whereas some have ill mannered faculty. The method of teaching was good

Placement Experience:

There isn’t any recruiting sessions or any of such since its a medical college Most students opt for mds as there isnt much value in bds in itself Bds may offer 20-30k salary at the highest. But after mds there are more lucrative options

What I Liked

I like the atmosphere here. It’s a calm place. Here no ragging is allowed. And classroom facilities are awesome. When we start to work in clinics we get full support from faculties.
Overall it’s a nice college with all the facilities we want. Staffs are friendly nature and we can ask any doubt at any time

What I didn’t like

This college will torture us by saying attendance everytime

Course Curriculum Overview:

Bds is a nice course. It’s like more practical work we have to do. We have both theories and practical. First year and second Year we will not got to clinics. In that time period we study by preclinical activity.

Placement Experience:

Bds is a vast field.after completing we can either work in clinics or continue with the preparation of neet pg. there are other options also after completing bds like mbs etc..after completing mds we have high scope.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like to Be a Dentist So I choose this coarse . Excellent and well experienced Faculties. Three internals are there in every three months then university exams . Cultural programs , sports days etc were conducted.

Remarks:

College ambience is very good. Good Architecture, Environment, Excellent Faculties, Cafeteria . Overal Very Good College . Auditorium named Yendurance is very good for all the programs like cultural programs, graduations etc.

Life of a YDC student.

What I Liked

The most attractive thing of the campus is the surrounding filled with nature , which gives us peace.
The class timing is the best relief for a dental students, as it starts from 8/9 to 2:30.

What I didn’t like

the holiday’s provided is of insufficient.
some of the faculty’s are not well experienced, and lack teaching skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

If you are a person who loves to help others and good at art,BDS is a best of choice. As BDS is well known for Art field. The reason i choose this course ,i loved to work with my hands, and interest in studying the human bodies. •There are 3 internal assessments, after every 2 months. •I would say Second year is the most pressurising year in BDS course. •The faculties are good especially when it comes to practicals.

Placement Experience:

After getting a degree i would like to take up a 6 month course of RCT. And wanted to Work for few years only with my degree for now. and take up with a PG in the department of prosthodontic or orthodontic

The ciriculum is good It is flexible for all Main advantage is exam system It is a deemed to be University therefore the exam are easy compared to Rajiv Gandhi And portions will be over one month prior to exams

Neet exam qualification is a must for entering yenepoya dental college If you get nice marks in neet then you will be provided with scholarship with reduction of fee amount upto 8 lakhs Also faculties and facilities made me choose yenepoya dental college

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this because I love dentistry, everything is ppt and pvqs. Three internals conducted and after that university exam. 3.5 is the minimum percentage. Or else we are not eligible for university.

Remarks:

Very strict with studies, no cultural program, very much into studies, good faculty. The hostel is good and teachers are very helpful, we get a lot of facilities and food is also good. Good nature and people.
