PRMMCH Is The Best

What I Liked

Campus Life: The campus is away from the city's noise so here it is very peaceful atmosphere which makes your mind comfortable to focus on your studies. Apart from hectic MBBS schedule, we celebrate all functions and festivals very nicely. The campus also feels safe for girls.
Faculties: They are quite friendly and understanding. They helps a lot with our studies and cooperate us while organising functions. The only negative here is some departments lacks faculties.

What I didn’t like

Infrastructure: We have everything that a college's infrastructure needs but the only problem is that they are not maintained properly.
Current and Water Supply to Hostel: There a major issue with current and water supply in campus. We have to face power cut and water scarcity a lot of time.

Placement Experience:

After completing the MBBS degree, you will undoubtedly find employment, or you can open your own private practice. You won't ever be unemployed since doctors have a bright future. You can be one of the good doctors that our nation sorely lacks. The nice thing about this college in Odisha is that the state provides its doctors a respectable salary. You will never be unhappy with your financial circumstances.

Remarks:

The admission to PRMMCH is strictly through NEET Exam. The All India Quota Counseling is done by MCC for 15% of seats. The State Quota Counseling is done by OJEE for the rest of the seats. Here in Odisha, there is no OBC reservation for state quota. The cutoff marks varies each year depending upon level of question and competition. NCERT will be your key to overcome NEET to get admission to this college. There is no interview round.

The Medical Mile

What I Liked

Our college's infrastructure is good AC class room wit digital projector and Smart board are fitted
Hostel is also cleaning every day. The faculties are really great they always guide us how to handle patients in practical life

What I didn’t like

I dislike about my college is its located far away from the main market so there is little problem regarding purchase of any study materials
My college is located near jungle are so there is fear of snakes and other animals

Placement Experience:

1 After completion of 4 and half years of MBBS you will be doing an internship for one year in the college associate hospital. 2: During an internship a good amount of money you can earn it's 43K per month. 3: After the internship, you will be posted to PHC or CHC accordingly by the Government of Odisha and also 80-90 K per month salary can easily be earned.

Remarks:

MBBS Curriculum is best for me because it's not only about money and also you will gain respect and self-satisfaction when you save someone's life. One of the reasons I chose a medical career was my father passed away due to not being available for better medical treatment. Because of lack of money, many poor people lose their lives and I want to change this scenario. Before entering medical college you must have to give an entrance examination National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET).

Prm mch Tales .

What I Liked

Teaching experience and interests of teachers to make us learn the subject
Fest is the best part in the college life , like Fusion X and annual fest etc.

What I didn’t like

Hectic schedule of classes along with hectic clinical classes schedules.
Little distance from the Town , so little cutoff is felt . Availablity of substances is little less.

Placement Experience:

Eligible criteria is to pass the MBBS exam for doing the Internship. Intership is a 12 month training program for the MBBS students after 4.5 years of study. After internship, government places the medical graduate based on availability of posts.

Remarks:

Reason for choosing the college is that it is comparatively near to my residence according to my Mark . There is one nation wide exam Know as National Eligibility cum entrance exam aka Neet UG for getting addmission in medical College. My college is situated in Mayurbhanj district in Baripada.

What I Liked

Annual fest , Fusion X, hostel Life , College campus
College life Masti , Senior Junior brotherhood relationship

What I didn’t like

Missing home sometimes. Sometimes very hectic schedule of classes
Exam stress , fear of Viva , Clinical class hectic schedule

Placement Experience:

After completion of 4.5 years of course. A compulsory intership of 1 year is provided by the college. Then temporary and permanent placement take place by govt by giving exams like OPSC and neet pg etc. Package ranges from 50k to 70k per month.

Remarks:

It's the best college based on my rank. And it's the 4 th best medical College in the state. Admission is based on NEET exam rank basis. Counseling is done by Ojee in the state which allot the college based on rank and Preferences.
