- Campus Life: The campus is away from the city's noise so here it is very peaceful atmosphere which makes your mind comfortable to focus on your studies. Apart from hectic MBBS schedule, we celebrate all functions and festivals very nicely. The campus also feels safe for girls.
- Faculties: They are quite friendly and understanding. They helps a lot with our studies and cooperate us while organising functions. The only negative here is some departments lacks faculties.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure: We have everything that a college's infrastructure needs but the only problem is that they are not maintained properly.
- Current and Water Supply to Hostel: There a major issue with current and water supply in campus. We have to face power cut and water scarcity a lot of time.
Remarks :
The admission to PRMMCH is strictly through NEET Exam. The All India Quota Counseling is done by MCC for 15% of seats. The State Quota Counseling is done by OJEE for the rest of the seats. Here in Odisha, there is no OBC reservation for state quota. The cutoff marks varies each year depending upon level of question and competition. NCERT will be your key to overcome NEET to get admission to this college. There is no interview round.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The professors here are friendly. The curriculum isn't very rigorous. Every semester, students here take a final exam in addition to three internal tests. Some departments have shortage of faculty. The faculties here are high qualified. The pass:fail ratio of this college is pretty good. From 2nd Proff onwards, you will be visiting clinical wards.
Internships Opportunities :
According to NMC guidelines, a MBBS passout have to compulsorily do one year internship on all departments on rotational basis. This is very crucial phase where you will be learning a lot from your seniors. Here in our college, internship is good where the PGs will guide you a lot as elder siblings. Here it's not that hectic schedule. You will be given Rs 42000 as stipend for this period of time. Your internship schedule will be arranged by CR of the batch.
Placement Experience :
After completing the MBBS degree, you will undoubtedly find employment, or you can open your own private practice. You won't ever be unemployed since doctors have a bright future. You can be one of the good doctors that our nation sorely lacks. The nice thing about this college in Odisha is that the state provides its doctors a respectable salary. You will never be unhappy with your financial circumstances.

Campus Life :
We have Student Union who organises various academic, cultural and sports events for refreshments and an escape from this hectic MBBS life. We have an annual fest named 'Elixir' and a summer fest named 'FusionX'. We have different clubs or societies for different activities run by students. Our infrastructure is just average. But now we have our own hospital near our campus. We have football, cricket, basketball and volleyball ground nut they are poorly maintained. We have library, study room. The lecture theatre are large and well equipped. We have gym inside our college campus and a large 600 seat auditorium for our functions.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel have large rooms for 3 persons for each room with cupboards, beds, and study tables. The rooms are well ventilated. But there is frequent issue of current supply and water supply. Washrooms are not regularly washed. Boys hostel mess is good and hygiene. Girls hostel currently lack a mess but soon to be solved. Each students enrolled in MBBS program can opt for hostel stay. All electric device and vehicle allowed in hostel.

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
