Utkal University is the eldest university in Odisha, and the 17th-oldest university in India situated in Bhubaneswar, Khordha, Odisha, was recognized in 1943 and the university was laid by Dr. Rajendra Prasad (first leader of India) and was inaugurated by Dr. S Radhakrishnan (second president of India).
It is a teaching-cum-affiliating university. It is recognized with an “A+” Rank by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). In 2020, it was graded 96 for University by the National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF). It was similarly ranked 30 for university by The Week in 2019. This is the major affiliating university in the country with 267 affiliated universal colleges, 15 law colleges, 6 medical and pharmacy colleges.

Utkal University Scholarships

Course Curriculum Overview:
Course curriculum is what I don't like at all. I was expecting some practical based but received theoretical curriculum. I know expectating from a pg university is not good but for a practical based course getting theoretical curriculum is not good in my opinion. But the faculties were good helping. Sometimes they are troubling for some unnecessary things but that can be manageble. After all that overall services that we get from the faculties are good.
Placement Experience:
There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

I have chosen this course because it's a dual degree one . You get both BCA & MCA in this single course with affordability. Faculties are very much talented their teaching method is good. Exam questions difficulty is normal.
Placement Experience:
Companies like Wipro, Infosys and other placements have been given to our university students. Average package is 2-3lpa for freshers. Many students got placements in these companies. I plan to get placements in these companies.

Course Curriculum Overview:
There is twenty five something faculty in this collage and they are very good the behave like friend with us and they help us in every situation. The total student in this collage is 400 and the boys are 195 something and girls are 200something. Each month end the lectures are doing a surprise test and some students are take full mark and some are fail. The pass ratio is 65% and the fail ratio is 15% the rest of is average.
Placement Experience:
No there is problem of placement and the opportunity of place in a good company is not possible. But the teaching is very good . My plans after degree is to be Competition with the real world market and achieve my dream.

I joined with mathematics honors. I choose this because I'm always good in this subject so there is not any confusion for choose this subject or course. Faculties are cooperative and supportive in nature and also teaching methods are best for me .

In my college there was a lecture from our area so I decided to study there . Good aspects are best faculties and cooperative staffs. Bad aspects I think over strict . No there is not any group discussion or interviews for addmission.

I chose this course because I want to join the merchant navy. Teaching methods are so good there are timely exam methods and so good examination halls and lectures are so good in teaching and examining. No scholarship I applied.

You have to pass plus two. There were no placement criteria now it will increase the placement faculty. A percentage of students get their job now and in a good field they can do their jobs very well and settled.

The course curriculum is very nice from a national-level entrance examination point of view. Scholarships are also given to meritorious and financially disabled students. Term exams happen timely and there is no such difficulty.

There are plenty of placements and job opportunities you can find here. And even if no campus placement is offered, you can take any national-level entrance examinations like CSIR NET, GATE, BARC, and TIFR, and you can enroll yourself in a PhD.
