KIIT Polytechnic, established in 1995, serves as the diploma wing of the KIIT Group of Institutions. It is affiliated with both the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Odisha, and the State Council of Technical Education & Vocational Training (SCTE&VT), Odisha.

KIIT Polytechnic offers Diploma programs across six engineering disciplines, including Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Metallurgical Engineering. To qualify for admission, candidates must have a 10th-grade passing certificate from a recognized board, with at least 35% aggregate marks. Admission is conducted through the Diploma Entrance Test, followed by centralized counseling organized by the DTE&T, Odisha. The course fee for the Diploma is INR 1.05 lakhs.

In the KIIT Polytechnic 2021-2022 placement season, over 250 students secured job offers, with an average salary of INR 2.75 lakhs per annum. Some of the top companies participating in the placement drive included Owens Corning, Krishna, JBM Group, Hitachi, Gainwell, Bajaj, and Birla Soft, among others.
