Magnus is the biggest fest in our college. College managemnt are conduct this program yearly. Their have lots of fun, games, sports and other activities like dancing singing etc. All types of books are available in our library.

The social life in Budge Budge is too boring but inside the campus of JIMSH, it's a festival every day. The decor of the entire campus, the huge grounds, and the tree-filled space are wonderful to experience. Being situated on the outskirts, there are hardly any facilities available outside the campus but the management has built a beautifully shaped -class library, a few lovely canteens and cafes, a football ground, a basketball ground, volley ball, and badminton ground for the students to have fun around. The hostels are heavily equipped with all modern facilities and are clean and well maintained every day. The journey from scratch to a world-class institution is amazing to be a part of. The fest takes place at the beginning of every year filled with amazing artist appearances. The engineering college under the same management has been a part of the fests too. Colleges from all over West Bengal have enrolled every year for the events throughout the 4 gala days of the fest.

Hostels are vwry well furnished(single sharing/triple sharing Ac/non Ac) Hostels are struct with these rules Timings. And very secured with biometrics , proper survilance, The campus is moderately huge, 4 times food-breakfast, lunch, evening snacks, dinner Also, have 5 cafeteri inside the whole campus with 1 stationary shop

The fest is called 'MAGNUS FIESTA' and occurs mostly in February. Many well-known celebrities have performed here like Badsha, Honey Singh, and Ayushman Khurana. You will get all the necessary books related to MBBS in the library. The college is also active in sports there is a football tournament and a cricket tournament held every year ( JPL & JSL). The hostel room is good as it is relatively new. The rooms are cleaned every alternate day. The food quality is average but they try to do something new now and then. There are special foods on some occasions like Diwali. We get food 4 times ( breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner). The hostel rooms are:- single with AC, triple with AC, and triple with non-AC. The hostel fees included food. The approximate hostel fee is 1.8L per year, which is reasonable. For PG outside campus, it's pretty affordable too but the experience might not be good.
