Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Pharmaceutical Science (DAIPS), Rourkela started imparting the D.Pharmacy course from academic session 2019 onwards and offering a B.Pharmacy course from academic session 2021. B.Pharmacy & D.Pharmacy courses are approved by PCI, New Delhi & recognized by the Health & Family Welfare Department, Govt. of Odisha. The institute is affiliated to BPUT, Rourkela.

DAIPS Rourkela offers admission to the B.Pharma as its flagship program. The fee for B.Pharma for 2025 is INR 3.2 lakhs. To be eligible for admission, the candidate must have passed 10+2 with the PCB stream from a recognized board. The selection criteria for admission is based on the OJEE scores.

DAIPS Rourkela offers admission to the D.Pharma program. The fee for D.Pharma for 2025 is INR 1.25 lakhs. To be eligible for admission, the candidates must have passed 10+2 in the PCB stream from a recognized board. The selection criteria for admission is based on the merit in the previous qualifying examination.

DAIPS Rourkela continually seeks companies that could potentially employ students or offer live projects, and internships for students to gain practical exposure. Students are also trained at the Institute to improve their soft skills and their employability in the industry. The institute also has a good connection with the industry & has a placement cell.
