NTA has released the ICAR AIEEA PG 2024 provisional answer key on August 1, 2024. Candidates who appeared in the exam can download the provisional answer key on the official website exams.nta.ac.in/ICAR. Along with the answer key, you can also access the question paper with your recorded responses.

If you want to challenge the answer key, you can raise objections on the website from August 1 to August 3, 2024 (11.50 PM). Log in with the application number and date of birth to challenge. You have to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 200 for every question you challenge. Pay the processing fee online via debit card/credit card/net banking. Your objection will not be accepted without the fee receipt. No objections will be accepted after the deadline, i.e, August 3, 2024 (11.50 PM).

An expert panel will evaluate all the objections and make the necessary changes. After all the objections are settled, NTA will publish AIEEA PG 2024 final answer key. Then based on the final answer key, the ICAR AIEEA PG Result will be released.

ICAR exam (Indian Council of Agriculture Research) is a national-level entrance exam, conducted every year to provide admission into various UG & PG-level courses. As of last year, admission for AIEEA PG (All India Entrance Examination for Admission) will be based on a separate entrance exam. NTA (National Testing Agency) will conduct ICAR AIEEA PG to offer admission to the Agriculture program/ courses.

ICAR AIEEA PG 2025 Highlights

AIEEA PG 2024 Highlights are given below.

  • AIEEA PG 2024 examination will be conducted around 90 cities across India.
  • AIEEA PG 2024 is conducted for 30% of seats in a Master's degree programme in accredited agriculture universities.
  • Not more than 40% of candidates from any one state shall be admitted to any agricultural university in a particular subject and category.
  • Every year, around 25,000 candidates applicants appear in AIEEA PG exam.
  • For AIEEA PG, an overall Merit/Rank list is prepared separately for every major subject.
  • AIEEA PG 2024 counselling process will be conducted in four rounds, followed by one mop-up/ final round.

ICAR AIEEA PG Admit Card was released on 26th June 2024. Candidates can download their ICAR AIEEA PG Admit Card online from the website by entering their login details.

ICAR AIEEA PG 2025 Cutoff

AIEEA PG cutoff refers to the minimum marks or ranks a candidate must secure to qualify for admission to AIEEA PG participating institutes. The cutoff will be released by the accepting colleges after the declaration of ICAR AIEEA PG Result.

Candidates who qualified for the exam by securing the ICAR AIEEA PG cutoff would be eligible to participate in the ICAR centralised counselling process.

ICAR AIEEA PG Counseling 2025

ICAR AIEEA PG 2025 Counselling Process

AIEEA PG counselling process is given below.

Step 1 - Registration

  • First, candidates need to register themselves on the official website.
  • Once successfully registered, log in to the online counselling portal of the exam by using your login ID and password.
  • Pay the registration fee (non-refundable) for AIEEA PG 2024 counselling.

Step 2 - Choice Filling

  • Once registered, candidates need to log in to the AIEEA counselling portal and make their choice for courses/ universities in which they want to secure admission.
  • It may be noted that only those courses and universities will be displayed on the portal whose eligibility requirements are met by the candidate.
  • Once the choice selection is completed, candidates need to save their choices.
  • The locked choices shall be processed according to merit and available seats on a scheduled date for the allotment of seats.

Step 3 - Online Uploading of Documents

  • The candidates will be intimated through e-mail/SMS about the University/institute and course allotted.
  • The list of allotted candidates will be updated in the relevant database.
  • The candidate is not required to physically report at the admitting University/Institute during any round of counselling.
  • If the original certificates are not in the English language, an English translation of such certificates, duly certified by the Principal/Director or other competent authority of the institution last attended, will be required to be uploaded by the candidates.
  • Documents in support of Category and PwBD status should have complete required details, clearly visible seal, sign, date, and place of issue and should be latest as per the requirement.

Step 4 - Verification of Documents

  • Candidates can then download their provisional admission letter from the counselling portal.
  • Thereafter, they need to mandatorily report at their allotted university along with all the prescribed documents.
  • The university will verify all the documents and thereafter will issue a final admission letter to candidates.

Step 5: Deposition of Seat Acceptance Fee

  • The candidate may opt for “Upgradation” after depositing the Seat Acceptance Fee.
  • Once the uploaded documents have been found and marked “Verified” by the University/Institute, the candidate will be required to pay the non-refundable Seat Acceptance Fee.
  • After confirmation of receipt of the Seat Acceptance Fee, the University/Institute will mark the candidate as “Provisionally Admitted”.
  • In the case of “Upgradation” of Seats, the candidates are not required to pay the Seat Acceptance Fee again.

Step 6 - Issue of Provisional Admission Letter

  • After completion of final reporting by the University/Institute, a Provisional Admission Letter will be issued to the admitted candidate through e-mail.
  • No correspondence from the candidates/guardians/parents will be entertained by the Council for seeking permission for late registration/admission in the Universities/Institutes or issuing any direction regarding the admitting University/Institute.

ICAR AIEEA PG 2025 Seat Allotment

Once the uploaded documents have been found and marked “Verified” by the University/Institute, the candidate will be required to pay the non-refundable Seat Acceptance Fee of INR 10,000/- (Rs. Ten Thousand only) across the board. It has to be paid irrespective of category, on the ICAR’s Counselling portal.

Ques. What is seat acceptance fees for AIEEA PG 2024?

Ans. Candidates have to pay a non-refundable Seat Acceptance Fee of INR 10,000/- (Rs. Ten Thousand only) across the board, irrespective of category, on the ICAR’s Counselling portal.

Ques. What if any doubt occurs regarding the verification of documents?

Ans. In case of doubt regarding the documents, the Document Verifying Officer of the allotted University/Institute will raise a query to the candidate, against which, the candidate can respond through her/his login. This interaction between the Document Verifying Officer and the candidate can occur only once.

The time permitted for re-submitting the document will be till Noon of the next calendar date (from the date of demand). The candidate is, therefore, advised to be vigilant about re-submission of documents.

Ques. Can I update my choices for AIEEA PG seat allotment?

Ans. Yes, candidates can update his/her choices any number of times before the last date/until the choices are locked by the candidate. On the last day of choice filling his/her last saved choices will be automatically locked and the same list will be considered for the further counselling process.

Note that, registered candidates who do not fill any choice or fail to save them by closing time of the last day of choice filling will not be considered for seat allotment and admission.

Ans. The following information will help you understand how the scores for the ICAR AIEEA results will be determined.

  • The candidates' raw exam scores will be converted to a percentile NTA score because ICAR AIEEA PG 2024 exam will take place in different shifts.
  • An equivalent score, the NTA score, will be produced based on the candidate's raw score in an exam that was conducted in numerous shifts. The relevant NTA scores for all the sessions and shifts will be totalled up to allocate.
  • To reduce the number of ties, the percentile score will be calculated up to 7 places after the decimal.
  • The percentile score would show the proportion of students who performed at that level or lower on the test and show the ICAR marks vs rank.
