What's New in KIITEE 2025?
KIITEE 2027 dates have not been announced. The 2026 schedule opened registration on 10 November 2025 and held the first exam phase from 16 to 20 April 2026. The same dates are being used as a tentative guide for 2027 until KIIT publishes the new calendar.
KIIT Deemed to be University holds KIITEE for admission to many undergraduate and postgraduate courses. It is not one common paper for every course. B.Tech has Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, while BBA, BCA, law, nursing, lateral-entry and postgraduate papers have different subjects. MBA applicants should follow the separate KIITEE Management schedule.

KIITEE 2027 Dates
The university has not released the KIITEE 2027 calendar. The table below carries forward the matching dates from the 2026 cycle as tentative 2027 dates. KIIT may change them when the new application form opens.

KIIT added more admission phases in 2026. It has not said how many phases will be held in 2027. The latest announcements can be followed on the KIITEE updates page.
What is KIITEE?
KIITEE stands for KIIT Entrance Examination. It is the university's admission test for engineering, biotechnology, nursing, law, design, computer applications, commerce, humanities, public health and several postgraduate courses. The course selected in the form decides the required qualification, paper subjects and merit list.
The 2026 admission policy kept MBBS, BDS, PG Medical and PG Dental outside KIITEE. Admission to MBBS and BDS used NEET UG. B.Arch also required a valid NATA result along with the required Class 12 marks.
KIITEE 2027 Courses and Admission
The course list is broad, but the admission method is easier to understand when it is grouped by study level. The 2027 list will be confirmed with the new brochure. The main groups available in 2026 were as follows.

One exam name, different papersThe course chosen in the application form decides the paper. A B.Tech student and a BCA student do not answer the same subjects even though both tests are called KIITEE.
KIITEE 2027 Eligibility
KIIT has not published the 2027 eligibility rules. The table gives the main 2026 conditions. The new brochure may change the accepted passing years and birth-date limit, so these two details should be checked again when registration opens.

Students who were waiting for their final qualifying-exam result could apply in 2026. They had to show the pass certificate during counselling. Without it, the university could cancel the KIITEE rank and admission claim.
KIITEE 2027 Application Form
The KIITEE form is submitted online. The 2026 application and entrance exam were free. KIIT has not confirmed the 2027 fee yet. The form asked for personal and academic details, followed by a photograph, signature and Class 10 marksheet or pass certificate.
- Select the course before filling the academic details because the course decides the eligibility and paper.
- Enter the name, date of birth and contact details as they appear in school records.
- Upload the photograph, signature and Class 10 certificate or marksheet.
- Save the application number because it is used for the admit card, result and rank card.
The form and prospectus were online only in 2026. The university did not issue a printed application form. Students could keep a copy of the submitted form for later use.
KIITEE 2027 Exam Pattern
The 2027 pattern is awaited. As per the 2026 brochure, KIITEE was a 150-minute computer-based test in English. Each question had four options. A correct answer carried 4 marks, a wrong answer lost 1 mark and an unanswered question carried 0 marks.
The screen allowed students to move between sections, change an answer and mark a question for review before final submission. The test closed automatically after 150 minutes. These navigation rules were common, but the subjects depended on the course.

KIITEE 2027 Syllabus
The syllabus follows the paper assigned to the course. For the 2026 B.Tech paper, Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics used the Class 11 and Class 12 level. The official syllabus covered mechanics, heat, waves, electricity, magnetism, optics and modern physics; physical, inorganic and organic chemistry; and algebra, trigonometry, coordinate geometry, calculus, vectors, three-dimensional geometry and probability.
The BBA, BCA, law and related group did not use the B.Tech science syllabus. Its paper tested Mathematical Ability, Analytical and Logical Ability, Verbal Ability and General Knowledge. MCA and M.Sc Computer Science gave half of the paper to Mathematics and split the rest between reasoning and Computer Awareness.
KIIT also publishes sample questions by subject. They are useful for checking the question style, but the course name must be matched before opening a paper. A B.Tech lateral-entry sample or a biology sample does not represent the regular B.Tech Mathematics paper.
Check the course before checking the syllabusThe most common KIITEE mistake is using the B.Tech syllabus for another course. The eligibility table, paper subjects and syllabus should all show the same course name.
KIITEE 2027 Admit Card, Result and Counselling
The admit card is released online and is also sent by email. It carries the exam details needed for entry to the test. The 2026 rules required students to keep it until the admission process was complete.
KIIT prepares separate merit lists for different courses. The result can be checked with the application number, and the rank card can be downloaded from the result page. The university then sets a counselling cutoff rank according to the seats available in each course.
Counselling and seat allotment are based on merit. Students called for counselling have to show the original certificates for identity, age, qualification and category. A missing or incorrect document can stop admission even when the student has a qualifying rank.
How equal marks were ranked in 2026
For B.Tech, Mathematics marks were checked first, followed by Physics and then age, with the older student placed higher. B.Sc Nursing used Biology, then Chemistry and then age. MCA used Computer Awareness, then Mathematics and then age. The tie rule therefore changed with the paper.
Free exam does not mean free counsellingThe 2026 application and entrance exam had no fee. During counselling, selected students had to pay Rs 75,000, including a Rs 10,000 counselling registration fee. The 2027 amount has not been announced.
KIITEE 2027 Reservation and Cutoff
The 2027 reservation rules are awaited. In the 2026 KIITEE quota, 15% of seats were reserved for SC candidates, 7.5% for ST candidates and 3% for physically challenged candidates with locomotor disability. B.Tech also reserved 30% of seats in each category for women.

Unfilled reserved seats were changed to general-category seats in 2026. KIIT did not use one fixed cutoff for every course. The counselling rank depended on the course, category and seats left at that stage.
