I was previously an NEET aspirant so i always have been intrigued by Biological systems. Biotechnology is technical spin on the subject biology and that peaked my interest in the subject. having some prior knowledge about the subject helped in choosing the subject. The course includes vast and interdisciplinary subjects. In first year you get to learn Electrical Engineering and in second semester you learn mechanical engineering. You get to learn constitutional law, and subjects like IPR, that has got to intrigue you. If theory isn't something that you passionately follow, the lab days are something to look forward to. You perform experiments on the micro world under your microscope and watch how it reacts to different types of stimuli you provide. I choose this subject and course out of passion and KIIT school of biotechnology hasn't let it die.

I chose to study M.Sc. Biotechnology because I wanted to do research. Most of the faculties have Ph. D.s, and most of them are Ph. D.s from abroad. They had a very strong research background. It inspired me a lot to do research. Exams are mainly conducted twice a semester: mid-semester and final semesters. Initially, I paid 70,000 as counseling fees, out of which 60,000 were laptop charges and the rest, 10,000, were non-refundable counseling fees. The semester fee is Rs. 96,000.

It is a five-year-long course and 10 semesters. For this time we have to read more than 35 different subjects. We have labs and libraries for this course and faculties are too supportive. We have both a board and a digital board for teaching.
