The eligibility criteria for sitting in placements in that you shouldn't have any back papers. As a biotechnology major, there are mostly and primarily pharma companies recruiting us. SunPharma, Himalaya are some big company names that come to recruit. There is high percentage of recruitment in the interviews.

Placements start in the middle of the third semester and continue until the end of the course. They prepare you for placements, like conducting mock group discussions, meeting with alumni, etc. Companies like Nestle, Zifo, Enzene, etc, are the main companies that conduct placements almost every year. The highest package from my batch was 5,00,000, and the average was 3,00,000. 80% of the students in my batch sat for placements, and the rest opted for research. I decided to go for research, so I am preparing for it right now.

We are gonna have placement in the final year. We will have many famous companies to hire us. The highest package here is almost 9 LPA and on average it is 4 LPA. Here almost half of the students take placement and others opt for higher studies.
